My brother and my husband and I were going to go threw Cobb homes at first they said it would take a couple of months then weeks go by then they tell our parents it could be longer!!! They were not truthful then they make you pay all these fees that other places already figure in. Then when we go get our deposit back we put on the trailer I believe it was the owner! He got mad and wouldn't even let us explain when they asked us why!!!! Very unprofessional i will not be coming back!!!

Our experience with Cobb Homes in Branson, Missouri owned by Kelly and Jeri Cobb and Built by Barrington Construction company, owned by Jerry and Sarah Barrington, has been highly disappointing. After purchasing our home in May 2025, issues arose with communication, construction delays, and incomplete work. We contacted the state of Missouri (mainly because these companies would not answer our calls or texts) and state authorities issued citations for multiple infractions related to the foundation and construction. Cobb and Barrington did not contact us or rectify the major issues within the 60-day timeframe. We bought in May 2025, received the keys in October of 2025 and here we sit in May 2026 with incomplete service and a concerning foundation on our home. They have restricted our ability to provide feedback by blocking us from their platforms. Other buyers have personally reported similar issues with structural problems and poor customer service, suggesting substandard business practices. Buyer BEWARE Update: Here we sit in October 2026... Cobb and Barrington have apparently parted ways. Cobb has had a couple contractors come out to our place here and there attempting to address the state violations and some interior issues. This month marks one year since getting the keys. We are still in a holding pattern on doing anything with our yard or putting in safe steps/deck. We were advised not to do anything until Cobb has completed the repairs to our home. (They could blame current problems on new construction) Our skirting is bent inward and simply trashed due to the failure of initially placing a correct drainage system. Our yard looks like a lake when it rains...you can imagine where that water recedes to eventually... directly under our home. There are several issues still outstanding that Cobb does not seem concerned or see the urgency to repair. I will continue to update ongoing problems with Cobb until our home is completely done.

We waited for months for Cobbs contractor-. Crew was there half a day and get threats to force us to sign off saying everything is finished or pull the crew til we did. Their contractors Built by Barrington do shabby work, not to state or federal specs, or dont even finish what you paid them to do. They left the septic partly exposed and above ground. Waterline left exposed, Agreed he'd come back to finish, then refused. Also ripped out a major drainage ditch (that is HUD required) I had paid another contractor to put in. Cobbs refuses to do anything about it. Barrington finish work inside is crappy too, but they'll tell you it's just a mobile home and to sign off or we dont get the keys.

If you’re like me and don’t have a clue where to start in today’s housing market then look no further, Kelly took great time and detail really helping me understand how this whole process works and even management after the initial paperwork and set up. Man to man he’s helped me more than he knows. They’ve really fit my needs and my budget. Compassionate, honest, hard working, reliable, and fast would be a how I’d describe this business.

Heyo the Cobb Family is beautiful so it would only make sense that they sell beautiful homes. They really helped me find the right one to fit my business needs. I love my studio space so now I don’t have to rent space. The was truly the best choice for my next chapter. And the way they treat their employees was a biiig green flag for the books. Honest people how gave me hope for our society.

He was always available, any time of day if I had any questions. I wouldn’t work with anyone but Justin when picking out your new home!

My husband and I recently purchased a mobile home. Very sweet people in the beginning everything seemed to fine. We have sent in pictures and emails to everybody that works in the office for repairs. Nobody seems to know anything. Nobody communicates. This is a very unprofessional company. We love our new home. But we are still waiting on some repairs. A new door for our daughter’s bedroom vinyl We had to replace the front door knobs and the back door knobs. My husband had to go through the house and nail down some nails in the floor so we wouldn’t cut our feet. The workers did not clean up after themselves. There was mud all over the floor. They used my back door as a skid plate to scrape the mud off. Just very unhappy with the service of this company.
