Unfortunately this can be the reality of operating in a small sparsley populated area. Drivers often have to travel significant distances to you up. We have to adjust fares to help make sure drivers are adequately compensated and therefore will to deliver service. We appreciate your feedback.

I used Coastal Rides extensively during my trip to Tofino in early December. Prompt courteous, clean comfortable vehicles, and just plain great folks to chat up. Highly recommend them for wherever you are going. Pro Tip: pre-book during the busy late afternoon early evening hours.

I without a doubt would recommend coastal rides to anyone especially Ian. Coastal rides made my stay in Port Alberni so much easier. Ian went over and beyond to help me and ensure that I arrived to work safely. He also went out of his way to make me smile and feel comfortable. Eric was such a great driver! He got us all the way back to Victoria when our flight got cancelled last minute from Tofino. He was friendly, drove very smoothly, and made the whole thing quite pleasant. Couldn’t recommend him enough!! Thanks again Eric :)
