I was using a different dental group when I had an issue with a toothache. First they never called me back and when I went to the office on Friday they asked me to come back on Monday. After explaining to the receptionist that I was unable to eat, the Dr saw me, but seemed rushed and indifferent. After talking to a coworker about my experience with the other dental group, he recommended Dr Hope. I called Coastal Dental Group and got an appointment the next day. Dr Hope took the time to explain all my options. I opted to have the tooth extracted. Dr Hope called me 2 days later to make sure I was doing well. I’m 62 years old, have been to a dentist over 100 times, and this is the first time a Dr has called to check up on me. I’ve been to the office 4 times. Each time I was seen at the time of my appointment and greeted with a smile. I have not had any experiences with the other two drs in the office. If they are even half as good as Dr Hope, then you are in good hands. If you’re in need of a dentist, give Dr Hope a try. You will not be disappointed.

AMAZING !! I am the biggest baby in S.C. Dr. Faith Hope and Ms. Avery made my new root canal and crown a very very pleasurable experience. I AM A FAN 😁🤓🤗 THEN Ms Kelly cleaned n polished them. What a great team !! My go to people 😍

This place is great! Dr. Hope has done plenty of work on me from root canals to fillings. She is very nice & always makes sure her patients are comfortable. Her assistant Avery is awesome too

Coastal Dental Group was the only office in town that could get me in last minute for a toothache on a Friday afternoon. Dr. Hope and all of the staff were very accommodating and got me out of pain immediately. 10/10 recommend this place!

Such a great experience getting dental care done here and for my young daughter’s first time at a dentist! Dr. hope made both of us so comfortable and did an amazing job with our teeth. She was very thorough and took the time to understand our situations and how to treat us individually. Dr. Hope was very professional and very welcoming. Will absolutely be coming back to her and could not recommend her enough!

I rarely have a poor experience in a dentist office. I cannot believe I went to Coastal Dental Group. I needed one of my partial's prong replaced. It was sent out overnight and came in the next day as promised. As normal, the newly repaired partial needed to be adjusted to my mouth. Dr. Hope refused to adjust the partial on my mouth's other side. She stated that I had to come back two or three days later to have it adjusted. Dr. Hope also stated that she did not agree to adjust the other side of my mouth. Who doesn't make sure that their patient's mouth is good before they leave their dental office? Dr. Hope even refused let me review the mold that was used to make the changes. Needless to say, I went home and found that my prong on the other side was protruding into my lower lip. I called the very next day and found that Dr. Hope was unavailable and had to see Dr. Tiller to have it repaired. I drove 12 miles one-way to Murrells Inlet to have it repaired. Upon arrival I found that they threw out the mold that was used in the repair for which I paid - $377.00. I let him know of my displeasure of having to come back again and that they threw away the mold rather than giving it to me. I was greeted by a non-apologetic, surly and rude Dr. Tiller who made nasty remarks to me regarding the age of the partial which was only three years old. He snickered behind me with his assistant which was totally uncalled for and unprofessional. Dr. Hope and Dr. Tiller what gives? Do you always treat your patients this way? I do not recommend anyone who has a partial to use this dental office’s services.

I have been going to Coastal Dental since 2016. When I started I had a mouth full of issues. Dr. Tiller has been fantastic and he has gotten me to a better place with my teeth. I have also seen Dr. Barnes if Dr. Tiller wasn't there or available. He too has been wonderful. All of the staff are pleasant. My entire family goes there as well. I would 100% recommend anyone who is looking for a dentist to come here. I moved 45 min away and still will make the drive to them.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I come from over an hour away to see Dr. Tiller and his team. They can always fit you in for an emergency and everyone is super friendly!

Been going to Coastal Dental for two years and like them very much. Amy is my hygienist and Dr Barnes my dentist. They are two of my all time favorites. So far I've never waited and all staff are friendly.

I am so grateful I came here! After moving to MB 5 years ago I have struggled finding the right dentist. I was recommended to Coastal Dental in '21 but didn't fully make the switch until yesterday..in pain..they made room for me and gave me a number of solutions at reasonable prices. The entire staff from the front desk to the assistant and dentist were all fantastic. I found my new dentist for life! Lol. Thank you so much!

I moved to the area recently and opened a new business so my schedule has been hectic. I have had work done on 3 occasions and had some pain after one procedure. Called at 7:45am and seen at 8. Class act all the way around to the friendly front of house to dental assistants and dentists.

I am terrified of dentist bad experiences in the past, but I needed help with a very painful tooth and needed a clinic available around my work,chose coastal and got an appointment immediately for the next day to suit my work schedule, Dr Barnes and all the staff were fantastic ,made me feel at ease ,pulled the demon tooth at my request and I will definitely make routine visits with them, avoid more damage to my teeth. Thanks tothe staff..oh and they are affordable too.

Was seen the same day I called. Dr and staff were all wonderful. Glad I found a great practice for my dental needs.

As a new patient who recently moved to Murrells Inlet, I was behind on my dental care due to covid and relocating. I had a minor emergency, and the office staff recognized my need and scheduled an evaluation with Dr. Newton in a matter of a few days. Drs. Barnes and Tiller took care of all my needs efficiently and it was a stress free experience. The entire office staff's professionalality prepares patients for an excellent dental experience. I had a "new patient" appointment last Thursday Dec 30. During the visit, I felt genuinely welcomed and taken cared of. Lucia, Ashley? (I forgot her name), and Dr. Barnes were great at explaining their assessment on my dental health. They know how much I wanted a cleaning on that day but my dental procedure would not fit their schedule. Even if they scheduled me for the earliest available appointment (Jan 3) Dr. Barnes nonetheless conducted light procedure that'll allow me to be "party-ready" for the new year! 😁 The vibe of the place makes me comfortable that I didn't even notice any "clinic visit" awkwardness and anxiety. I so like the place that I paid in advance my next two visits. I highly recommend this place!
