I’m giving Sheridyn and her team one star as unfortunately no stars is not an option. A warning to others searching for a decent Airbnb cleaner- find someone else if you can.
I had hired Click and Clean a month ago to clean my one bedroom Airbnb in Port Macquarie.
The first clean was good.
The second clean looked like it hadn’t even been cleaned. The only sign they had “cleaned” was the toilet paper had been folded. There was hair on surfaces, soap rings on the kitchen bench, fingers prints over the fridge, the pillows on the couch still had indents in them from where the previous guests had sat and previous guests ear buds and a toilet roll left in the bin.
I rang Sheridyn to let her know and she organised to go fix it. Sheridyn called me on her way back from fixing the apartment, she seemed annoyed and abruptly told me that “she can’t keep going back to fix things and if I didn’t like the way they cleaned, I should find someone else”.
I told her that I didn’t have high expectations although I did expect that my guests didn’t have to see the previous guests earbuds.
The third clean- none of the shower gel or coffee or supplies were filled. I emailed Sheridyn to thank her for the clean and politely informed her that none of the soap/ coffee etc had been topped up and that my family had done this so no need to go back and that they could do it in future if her cleaners ran out of time. Sheridyn’s email response was “you’ll need to find another cleaner”.
So I have been left without a cleaner for my Airbnb one week before Christmas and the busiest Airbnb rental period of the year.
Expect hostility if her cleaners haven’t done a good job and any feedback will be met with defensiveness. My experience with Click & Clean was less than enjoyable.

Our team strives to provide high-quality service, we completed a comprehensive clean during our first clean at no additional cost, and we’re pleased that you expressed satisfaction with the cleaning to us via email despite some small issues in the second clean. After your second clean, and upon investigation, we found that some concerns were influenced by third party linen changes post-cleaning, which we flagged as a potential challenge in future processes.
Regarding restocking supplies, our team ensures items are not left empty and topped up when required. On this particular occasion, when checked it appeared sufficiently filled and did not require refilling.
The way in which you have described the communication between our company and yourself seems to be misguided, and we hope you can see that we have gone above and beyond to assist you with your holiday let.
Additionally, our decision to discontinue Airbnb cleans was communicated in advance, as you had no further bookings scheduled with us and had stated you would be managing the cleaning yourself during the Christmas period. We would have gladly assisted you over the holiday period should you responded to our email letting us know this was not the case.
As discussed with you previously, This decision was made to align with our operational capacity and business goals. As a business, we believe we should have the ability to make professional decisions about our operational structure without fearing repercussions such as this one-star review, which appears to have been left out of spite rather than a fair assessment of the services provided.
