I contacted Clarity Media 24 hrs before the funeral. The team sorted everything out with almost no fuss. They knew exactly what to do and needed no further input from me. The recording and live stream was of great quality and our family and friends watching gave great feedback. The team also ensured the sound recording was to a very high standard. Friends and family afar, in distant counties and countries, meant that live streaming our loved one's funeral was the only way they could participate, albeit online. It was something of a last minute decision. We'd hoped the church might have streaming facilities, but I'm glad they didn't - because it meant we found Clarity Media. And although it was last minute, Sam and Chris could not have been more brilliant. It was no trouble to book them - they travelled a couple of hours to be there - and from the moment we engaged them, it was hassle free. They arrived two hours ahead of time, and had all their kit set up, including their own separate audio mics. We opted for the two camera package - YOU MUST: IT'S WORTH IT: I'll explain why below - and we left them to it. They had their own extra wifi boosters so it didn't matter if the signal was poor, and by all accounts the people who joined online were able to view without a hiccup. Ahead of time, we had been asked to supply a slide show - this meant there was a lovely tribute in the minutes before the live streaming. But the real value for us has been in having the copy of the recording - with the intro bit beautifully spliced to the start and then the actual recorded live bit following. And here's why having two cameras matters: they were able to focus in effortlessly on the speakers when they were giving tributes or the vicar conducting the service, while the other camera could be panning out over the congregation or focussing in on flowers or tributes. It was cut live and the fades from one camera to the other were beautifully done: the result, a beautiful and effortlessly professional, recording which has meant we can remember our loved one by viewing the tributes. It is worth doing a lovely slideshow (e.g. from Apple photos) so that the introduction is personalised ... but, otherwise, leave it to Clarity Media to produce a lovely remembrance momento. I could not recommend them highly enough - and they were ever so kind.

Clarity Media were very accommodating throughout the whole process from providing us with several options before the service to suit our needs and discreetly managing all aspects of the livestream on the day. They even brought along their own satellite communication kit just in case the internet connection was not fast enough in the small village were the Memorial Service took place.
Afterwards they stored the event on their Vimeo channel so that we could all replay at our leisure.
I'd like to thank them so much for so thoughtfully and professionally taking care of all the aspects of the livestream on the day so that we could focus entirely on the Memorial Service itself.
