When I walked in this place I thought it would look like the pictures online. All cause I didn’t feel
Like driving to Long Island I drive to bk and this was the worst decision I made, I was starving and cause I showed pics of what I want from the franchise of the restaurant they said they had none of that I was shocked I left and went to sweet chicks. Ima go to Long Island to see if I have better luck
Ordered food to go. I'm honestly not sure how this place doesn't have a line going down the block. The cochinita pibil tacos were insanely good, and my husband's milanese torta was just like the ones he fell in love with in Mexico City. Best Mexican food I've had in the neighborhood so far and will definitely become my go-to.
Hidden gem of a spot- low key is the spot for high quality authentic Mexican food at good price- flavorful - decent portions & again, solid quality.
I walked in on a whim just looking to check it out and was surprised by how insanely good the food was.
Overall honest breakdown;
Food was fantastic. Seats are very uncomfortable. Atmosphere is meh. Service was great.
We walked in randomly but turned out the food is soooooooo good!! Some of the dished are from Yucatan peninsula like cochinita pibil. We ordered stuffed pepper(chili relleno) tortas and chicharon tacos. They are so good!! The waiter was also super nice. We will 100% come back to this place!!
I love this place and wish I had known about it sooner. Their guacamole is delicious, and I’m a fan of the brunch menu, especially the flautas and aguas frescas. It’s vegetarian friendly and seems pretty easy to find gluten-free options. You can usually ask for dishes without dairy if you’re dairy-free. Colorful interior, friendly staff, and a great location near the Brooklyn Museum and botanic garden.
