I need to cancel my membership, I rang 3 times and also left web message, no one contacted me back for weeks. There is no way out ??

I called to ask about the minimum contract for the membership. The receptionist told me, “You can stop the membership anytime, but you’ll need to pay $110 joining fee again if you want to join back, so better to stay for a while?”
I asked “oh can I suspend it while I am overseas?”
She sighed and, then just left the phone without saying anything. I could still hear ping-pong sounds in the background, so it was clear she just walked away. I stayed on the line for another two minutes, listening to that ping-pong noise, she did not come back so I hung up. what kind of behaviour is that

Gutted by our experience as a long term customer (11 years) who had 2 kids coaching here. The coaches are great! They are only let down by their admin staff, finance and head quarters. Reached out multiple times since Oct 2024 and have submitted for a $300 refund. I’ve been told many times it’s submitted but waiting on Finance team. Even called and left messages to the area manager Anthony to help sort this out. All been ignored and avoided. Shameful. Recently they reached out with a free lesson in an email offer. Only for another staff Kat to say oh he’s been here before so not eligible. Please don’t send an email with the offer and then knock it back it that he’s not eligible. Should be clear in the terms & conditions with the email since he stopped his lessons some time ago.
Update: 18/4/25 Anthony has kindly followed up and sorted this out with the finance team and I’ve received my refund.

It’s a great club. I’m a member for 10 years. Got all facilities. Happy people to play social tennis on Sunday. Will continue to support club a lots of different profit adults and kids. Lovely staff and coaches. 💜👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Courts are in good condition, clubhouse isn't the newest but it works well and is functional and clean. Overall a pretty good place. Off street parking for about maybe 20 cars?

Great venue with friendly staff and the synthetic grass has been upgraded recently which makes it even better to play on. A lot of variety of programs available including kids tennis programs, ladies & mixed comps and social tennis, all of which I have used previously. My lovely local tennis ctr!

It's a mazing place where I would love to introduce to anyone. I booked a table tennis and tennis court almost everyday free as a member. I had a great time there since I retired. Happy place, people are friendly, I can make good friends while exercising. My body is strong and my life becomes meaningful. It is the best tennis club I have ever attended.

Great place to learn or just hit a ball. Really nice atmosphere and coaches. There is also a shop and table tennis area inside.
Only downside is that since they are carpet courts some of them can get sandy quite fast.

I often hire a court via an app with ease. Facilities are not quite new, but courts are good. I like the club's atmosphere generated by the members. There are a number of lessons and social tennis programs for the members. My son also enjoys school holiday camps. I would recommend the club if you live near Chatswood and have interest in tennis.

In liked the courts and setting. Nice atmosphere mainly because of the fun people. Although in group lessons it's sometimes hard to get a chance to play or really get better, when you ask the teacher more specifically they will help you
