We loved this super chic apartment with garden in the old part of Salerno
☺Located 25 minute walk from Salerno train station and 10 minute walk from the nearest metro station in the old and charming part of bustling Salerno. The apartment was located on the 3rd floor (we had assumed it would be on the ground floor because it has a garden) but the stairs were very shallow so quite easy to go and down with a 5 year old child and a stroller and baby. The apartment is on the smaller side but has a very high ceiling and is decorated in a exceptionally chic style. We loved the stone wall which gave it a cave like feel. All rooms open onto the super cute little garden that had a nice dining table and chairs for eating. Both beds were super comfy and it was a peaceful environment for sleeping. The kitchen was very small with basic cooking facilities so not the best for cooking large or complicated meals but fine for making breakfast and simple dinners. The internet worked perfectly.
☹There was a strange smell coming from the kitchen which I suggest the owners look into. The garden sprinklers were set to go off every evening at around dinner time which wasn't the best timing. There were a lot of mosquitos which could be related to the sprinkler system, perhaps the hosts could provide more mosquito coils to burn to keep them away.

Great place and friendly host. Check-in process was very smooth. Lovely garden 😍. The host was really helpful and gave us so many good tips on where to go and where to eat. Overall really happy with our stay. There are many steps to reach out the apartment so be mindful of this.

Our stay in Mauros place in Salerno was absolutely wonderful. From the location in the cobbled streets of the old town, to the space and our private garden it made for a lovley peaceful place to come back to. The bed (including the pull out sofa bed which was made when we arrived) were extremely comfortable, and had extra bedding and cushions available. We were Also greeted with a bottle of red wine! There is no lack of things to fill your days with in and around Salerno, the apartment is close to the beach where you can relax (a sun bed is only €3.50) or the port which has ferries running to places all along the Amalfi coast.A personal recommendation would be visiting Maori and taking the path of the lemons to Minori for a swim in their blue waters. Ravello, a town in the hills above Amalfi is also a must.Only amenity I can think that was missing was maybe some board games and a bigger frying pan for those looking to make meals for a family, other than that no complaints!

Le logement correspond bien à la description. Le jardin est un vrai plus. Situé dans un immeuble calme et à proximité du centre historique (bars, restaurants), de la rue piétonne commerçante et du bord de mer. Il permet de visiter cette belle région sans voitures en utilisant les ferries, bus et trains de la côte Amalfitaine jusqu'à Capri, vers Pompéi et Naples ou vers Agropoli. La présence de moustiquaires et de protections solaires extérieures sur chaque fenêtre est un point très positif.Il manquait les serviettes de douches à l'arrivée, ce qui a été rétabli par la suite avec une attention des hôtes. Par contre, beaucoup de traces de moisissures récentes sur les murs et les joints dans toutes les pièces et surtout la salle de bain. Il faudrait installer une ventilation mécanique et en attendant utiliser la fonction "dry" de la climatisation.

☺The apartment is situated in a very quiet location, yet very close to the city center of Salerno. It had everything we needed, and we particularly liked the small garden - perfect for a quiet evening or afternoon. The owner was very helpful and attentive. All in all, a perfect stay. We would come back!

The House Garden is an exceptional gem located in the heart of the city.
I had the most amazing time staying at the house garden & can't recommend it highly enough.
The building itself is a historical site, the apartment has been tastefully renovated honouring & preserving the the original details.
The apartment is very spacious & is ideal for a couple or a family (a lot bigger than what it looks like in the photos). It has all the amenities to accommodate a comfortable stay.
The kitchen is stocked with all the equipment needed to prepare home cooked meals etc.
The bed is extremely comfortable & the pillows are memory foam... good night of sleep guaranteed.
The garden is beautiful and very big and is great if you fancy a quick sunbathing session & don't feel like venturing out to the beach.
Hosts are a wonderful couple, very kind warm & generous. Anything I asked the guys were very accommodating & very helpful and have answered right away. Can't recommend it highly enough
