Sheila Corman is an absolutely wonderful home inspector! I would highly recommend her when considering any home sale or purchase. She has a great attention to detail, a helpful attitude, conducts a very through inspection of the home and clearly outlined her findings in the report. She's a true professional and a delight to work with!

Hal was great to work with

very thorough walkthrough and informative to home owner about work and maintenance of their home. Inspectors have great resources and knowledge about details and constantly come up with advice instead of just generic information. The process is very educational if you are willing to participate together in the inspection with the inspector. The inspector is very friendly to share the knowledge and vocal about the home during the inspection instead of just focusing on the report.

I am not one to leave reviews on a company but I had to for this. We purchased a home and Carson Dunlap was the home inspector. After receiving the home we found so many issues that contractors informed me that were so easily missed and should have been seen by a trained inspector. From mold, to mice issues to leaky windows. The list goes on and on. Either they did a poor job or someone on the other end deleted everything in their report.

Purchased a home and was provided with a report from the sellers by Carson Dunlop. How silly of us for not obtaining our own inspection. Missed major issues such as: black mold behind toilet (when we touched the baseboard it disintegrated in our hands) and when we opened up the wall the mold was 4 feet high (how could a moisture reader not catch this?), a broken leaking washing machine, a window leaking water during rain and visible water damage and mold underneath the window to the basement, and a mouse infestation in the attic…. The only recommendation we received was to replace the roof- but no mention that there are mice coming in? Who knows what else we haven’t found yet. Do not trust these reports. Learn from our mistake. Get your own from a reputable company.

Recommended by Remax. Inspection was sketchy at best. Roof done with camera on a pole. We could see damage to the chimney from the ground level but nothing reported. Even pointing this out to Remax Agents (3) did not help in bringing it to their attention Attic inspected from entrance. I fail to see how water damage can be detected this way. AC totally omitted. Not even turned on to see if it works. My advice is to find your own Inspection Company rather than relying on Real Estate Company you are closing the deal with.

Great service and thorough inspection. I felt confident in moving forward with our home purchase thanks to our amazing inspector Lee! From the moment I contacted Carson Dunlop I felt that they genuinely cared. With limited time to conduct the inspection, they were willing to help and accommodate us by finding someone to do the inspection on short notice. After the inspection, Lee sat with us and explained what he saw in full detail. Additionally, they looked at all the appliances and checked for recalls. I am beyond impressed by Carson Dunlop and will recommend to anyone looking for a home inspection!

Everyone I dealt with at the company was efficient & professional, especially since my inspection was booked in last minute. Hal the inspector was amazing!
