This is my first ever review, literally… I’ve found the urge to come out of my cave to pass on our gratitude and recommendation for Capt. Jelle. An outstanding Skipper who is very focused on gently curating the most memorable trip possible by considering your travel desires, his extensive knowledge of the Ionian and of course making sure it I all coordinated with the latest weather forecast. Jelle’s not only focused on the complete journey, but he is also very focused on the detail in each destination - moorings are highly considered, always felt like we had a front row seat in the best theatre, the local attractions, food, history, just fantastic. Above all, we simply felt very comfortable in Jelle’s company, he’s a Gentleman, our kids really looked up to him, learnt a lot and had much fun. Thanks again Jelle, the memory was that good it wont get lost.

A wonderful family from Australia 🦘—so relaxed, friendly, and understanding and a fantastic sense of humour. They made the most of every moment, even when challenges came up. The kids were having an absolute blast, and their youngest kept leaping off the boat, convinced he was a freediver rather than a toddler! 😂 It's a shame Australia is so far from Greece because I'd truly love to meet up with them on a regular basis

We have chartered a Lagoon 40 for a 7day sailing trip with our 4 kids and our dog. Jelle has been professional in all ways during our amazing trip in the Ionian sea. Jelle is a very responsible captain with a lot of knowledge, that goes beyond his sailing skills. Mistakes caused by other captains, defects and everything that could happen, he will fix without people noticing. He knows all beautiful spots, but is very flexible regarding wishes from the customers. He can bring you anywhere! In addition, Jelle is a man with many stories that he brings with a lot of humor. We had a fantastic week that I will never forget!!!

It was our first time on a boat trip. With 5 kids on board we had amazing time, a lot of fun and unforgettable moments. With a great experienced captain on board we felt very safe. We have just completed an incredible week aboard the catamaran Sunshine in the Ionian Islands, guided by our outstanding skipper, Jelle from Holland. We cannot praise his professionalism, competence, and the passion with which he introduced us to this corner of paradise enough. From the very first day, Jelle proved to be extremely prepared and attentive to our every need. His knowledge of the islands was impressive; he led us to hidden bays and unspoiled places that looked like postcards. Every morning he surprised us with a new itinerary, meticulously planned to offer us the utmost comfort and scenic beauty. We left from Preveza and visited Kalamos, Ithaca, Lefkas, and Kefalonia. Safety was always a priority. Throughout the trip, we felt protected and well cared for. His skill in navigating and handling the catamaran was evident in every maneuver, making our journey smooth and worry-free. But beyond technical competence, it was his hospitality that made this week truly special. Jelle was always available, friendly, and ready to share fascinating stories about the local culture and life at sea. His recommendations for onshore stops, from restaurants to activities, were always excellent, allowing us to have an authentic and unforgettable experience. Jelle is incredibly smart, easygoing, and professional. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire trip, enhancing our overall enjoyment. The catamaran was in impeccable condition, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a perfect holiday. Thanks to Jelle, we enjoyed every moment, from the tranquility of secluded bays to breathtaking sunsets over the sea. In summary, we highly recommend Jelle to anyone wishing to experience a catamaran holiday in the Ionian Islands. Incredible and amazing, helpful Captain. Captain J (Jelle) as kids on the boat called him, was amazing captain, he was very kind to kids, very helpful on planing the route, showed us some very nice places and was very patient and good teacher when we sailed. Highly recommend Captain, we will definitely book him again 😊

We had a fantastic trip with our skipper, Jelle. We were sailing in the Ionian Islands in a Bavaria 51. Jelle is outgoing, helpful, very capable, and he has a great sense of humour. He knows many absorbing places. He was very patient with us, four women onboard :-) He was treating us with care and great attention - you’ll be in good hands with him. Have a great summer. We have made a route through the ionic islands with Jelle as Skipper. He has done very well. Always concerned with what we wanted to visit. He took us to little corners to be alone and enjoy privacy. Friendly deal. He is a highly recommendable Skipper.

Jelle is a highly capable skipper who placed the safety of the crew and the boat above all other considerations. He is also a great guy to share a week away with. Modest, unassuming and friendly. He was patient with us all as he literally showed us the ropes on our Lagoon 42 catamaran, as well as taking us to many spectacular locations. The sailing was comfortable, and the sails went up at every opportunity, unlike a lot of other charters. The private beach barbecue our last night was a wonderful contrast to enjoying the restaurants in Fiskado, Sivota, Kioni and Varti. We recommend Jelle highly if you are looking for a safe and enjoyable sailing charter.

First class skipper, immense knowledge, good sense of humour and able to communicate with a variety of age groups. Went above and beyond in helping our adult daughter who is autistic and we firmly believe we have made a friend for life. I would not hesitate in recommending Jelle if you require a truly outstanding skipper.

What a sweet response from a fantastic family. You all have a great sense of humour and I love how smart your daughter is. I've learned a lot from her. We went exploring caves, an abandoned resort, Greek villages and she beat me with cards and chess more often than was good for me. :p (LOL) . I hope you will come back to beautiful Greece.
