Lawyers for Justice represents a stark betrayal of its professed mission to champion the aggrieved in employment law, opting instead for evasion when confronted with a robust, defensible case. My submission against LA Fitness included a nine-page evidentiary narrative, six detailed appendices, chronological timelines, voluminous screenshots and emails, additional supporting documents, and clinical psychologist notes; all forming an unassailable foundation.
The firm's reply, authored by a litigation secretary rather than an attorney, was a curt declaration of non-representation, devoid of any analysis, rationale, or acknowledgment of the evidence's merit. It merely reiterated statute of limitations warnings and urged immediate consultation elsewhere, masking inaction with superficial concern. This approach is not merely unprofessional; it is an abdication of responsibility that erodes public confidence in legal advocates. A firm that purports to fight for justice yet refuses to engage with a case of this caliber exposes its fundamental hypocrisy and incompetence.
Prospective clients are advised to steer clear of Lawyers for Justice. Such entities do not deserve to practice employment law, as they fail to fulfill the basic mandate of evaluating and pursuing meritorious claims backed by comprehensive evidence. Their refusal perpetuates harm to those already wronged, marking them as unfit for the role they claim.
Initially the experience was great, but after we had reached a settlement I didn’t hear back from anyone. I reached out a few times and I was told that there was just some more paperwork that had to be processed and then they would contact me. It’s been a few months and I’ve tried to contact them multiple times and have left messages and I have still to hear back from anyone. Nothing from my lawyer and nothing about any type of payment, a bit disappointed.
