DO NOT USE BYTE!!! DO NOT USE BYTE!!! I am 2 years into treatment and they asked for dental records and I have been trying to get them to them since JANUARY! They refuse to call my dentist to clarify what they need and take weeks between to respond to my emails. They are trying to wear me down so I just give up on treatment. Horrible service. Aligners crack if you are stuck in them until they can send new ones, and charge you for it even if they are the ones delaying treatment. DON'T DO IT! Go somewhere else!

I started this process thinking it would be a simple easy process of fixing my teeth but this has been absolutely h*** I have not been able to finish my treatment because the company has not been able to send out the rest of my treatment plan because they have been shut down by the ***. I have reached out constantly to the company by calling and emailing them but nobody can help me with my problem. I have requested a refund but have been getting the run around. i paid almost 3000 for this service and have not received my paid for treatment plan. i even signed up for the byte guarantee which is good for 5 year. They have falsely advertised and lied to me. i really want my payment to be refund so I can receive better service. this company needs to be shut down completely.

In 2022 I purchased Byte aligners. I began using them and expressed to my support person at Byte about having trouble with extreme pain and my teeth not shifting at all. They continued to urge me to start back at aligner 1, when I had been following the plan and was on week 13. All my aligners were essentially stretched out and useless. I was supposed to get aligners 14-finish and never received them because my teeth wouldnt shift. I am extremely disappointed in the thousands of dollars I paid in anticipation for straight teeth, only to never achieve them AND never receive the 2nd half of the aligners I paid for. 10/10 do not recommend.

I would like a full refund of the aligners. I consistently had issues with byte I do not feel confident that my money was spent in a safe or practical way. I spent a total of $2477.96 to recieve cavities, broken teeth due to poor fit, receiving gums, cut and scars inside my lips, etc.

This company is a total scam. They have falsely advertised to straighten my teeth in 4 months. I have seem no results. Every time I do a monthly check-in and send photos, they say it looks great and I am on track. Which I am not even close to the results I want. They sent me 15/17 of my trays. They paused shipment so I never received my last 2 trays. There is no way I will get the results I want from my last 2 trays. I have decided to stop treatment and I am so dissatisfied with my experience.

*** reached out to the company MANY times. Through messaging, I called in and waited on hold for 40 minutes then requested a call back. I have also submitted a request. I have not received a call back or had contact with customer service on behalf of my two kids treatment. Im am not happy with the care byte has provided for both of my teenagers. Their teeth look terrible and Ive heard from absolutely no one. Weve paid too much to have their teeth look crooked still and to be ignored. We are paying $2,500 for each kid. Either I want my money back, or I want byte to finish treatment on their teeth and have them actually look good. TERRIBLE customer service once you start payment plans l.

If there was a no star option i would, because this is ridiculous how many including myself have gone above and beyond contacting byte and contacting bytepay and both are stating its someone elses fault that refunds arent being handed out. I have been dealing with this since October was told it would be 30days. After 30 days im then told it would be 6-8 weeks. Called bytepay because i got a notice in the mail about my account being active again which they put a hold on so Byte could cancel the account and submit the refund to them so they can then start the process. Ive been talking to Byte Management, Ive been talking with the support team and now Byte is stating the refunds are on HOLD!! Well little do they know i was on the phone with a manager of Bytepay/ Westlake Portfolio and they said no they aren't and all they need to do is cancel and confirm my account and send them being Bytepay this information and the process would begin! This company is s******* all of us over that used Bytepay and Im tired of it. I had great teeth going into this process just two teeth needed to be aligned again and now im paying out of pocket charges to actual professionals to fix everything these aligners did to my teeth such as root canals and bridges to my front teeth. Again I'm 30 years old and never had a cavity in my life and had braces when i was a teen. Now my whole mouth is completely messed up and I'm having to fight for my money back. How can a company breach a contract and then ignore their customers that had faith in this new revolution of aligners being done at home in which we were all fooled due to COVID19 thinking it would be safe and they are professionals they know what their doing when they completely tricked those who took social contact real and collected money from those and myself that wanted to stay home and not get sick.Unbelievable.. should be ashamed.

This company has falsely advertised teeth straightening for top and lower teeth. They neglected to state that there is NO straightening treatment for lower teeth, which is what I need. They did send an entire kit and tooth whitening products which are nice. I have emailed on multiple occasions, the only response I get is that I need to go sign an agreement in order to get an answer. They can keep the money they have already taken, but will not discontinue service. I have visited a dentist due to cuts on my gums and the fact the aligners do not fit properly, still no response. This company is just another scam to add to the incompetent companies stating they are something they are not!

I did a live chat last week with two different staff that totaled 3 hours trying to resolve my issue with my retainers. I finally resorted to asking for a supervisor to which they could not supply me. No resolution was ever made and I am still not getting the retainers that were promised to me with the package that I paid in full for when I signed up. I am now having to resort to finding a different company to purchase retainers for out of pocket which is added expense as I wasn't supposed to have to do this. In addition, even with a rigid schedule wearing the set of retainers I was able to get last year (and am still currently wearing), my teeth have shifted and are no longer in the position they were in when I ended my treatment and m gum line has receded terribly. The company had so many guarantees and promises that I feel like they are not keeping and because of this I am requesting a refund in full. I am happy to provide receipt of purchase if needed.

I purchased these aligners almost a year ago, followed their instructions and what do you know... no difference with my teeth. If anything my teeth have gotten very sensitive since using... Very misleading company who also doesn't provide customer service. Seems like a scam since no one answering the phone nor responding to emails. Just a generated email telling you to go to your application and answer some questions. I continue to make payments to CareCredit for something that has not worked and no one responds/ answers. It is extremely frustrating and would really like a refund!

I started BYTE back in June of 2024 and was supposed to have aligners for 3 months. Ive had aligners now for 7 months because they took forever to send me the product and tried to say I wasn't following the process right, the app would constantly say I was in a different step when I changed it already. I'm waiting on my retainers for almost 4 months! All emails are generic emails I get from them. They are constantly asking for photos of my teeth when I already did the check ins and completed the aligners. The phone for corporate is disconnected, the phone number for assistance just keeps saying high call volume and to send an email, when I email, I get nothing back or it says I have to submit a request and when I do it asks me for photos again. The chat option in the app is AI generated and when you get to a "real person" they just say the same thing over and over again asking for photos. The problems I had with my teeth were not corrected and I told them I wanted to issues corrected if I was paying for it. I even submitted my main problem in the initial application for it and they never said it was something that couldnt be fixed. I used carecredit for this and this is a waste of money if I'm not going to be able to complete the process.

I have been needing to speak with customer service and or a dentist since November 2024. I have been contacting them then and December 2024. I am not able to get anyone on the phone or on their app. I need more aligners, their aligners disintegrate and break easily while not fitting proper. **************** is not decent. They have been paid up front and I am not getting what I paid for. When you contact them, you are talking to a bot and it says that they will have someone call me which never happens. Now I'm receiving something as if byte is no longer in service or open. I am not sure what to do. I need assistance. I have asked them for a refund. Please help! I definitely need to speak to someone a customer service regarding a full refund and a solution to my mouth care. I am tremendously dissatisfied.

Purchased and changed my aligners as suggested. When it came time for the retainer, I couldn't find the mouth opener retractor. I reached out to Byte and requested a new one. Was told they don't do that and to try using two spoons. Of course that didn't work. So now I've gone through my aligners, have followed their instructions... but they can't send a new mouth opener retractor? Essentially, this was a complete waste of time and money.

Byte is a scam! I initially saw the ad on TikTok and thought they looked credible. I was-of course-able to speak to a human in great detail when he was advising me of costs and payment options. I did receive the package as agreed. I wore my aligners as ordered and then after 15 weeks I noticed one of my teeth was uncomfortably rubbing on another tooth after the alignment timeframe was complete. I went to my dentist and he filed the tooth so that it wouldn't rub on the other tooth. I immediately update Byte and kept receiving emails that appeared to be AI-written and never able to get a person on the phone. The emails kept advising me to take photos and upload and describe the issue and I did over and over and over and still now approximately month out from the original end date of my aligners to which I was supposed to transition into retainers I can not get anyone to call me and still no reasonable response in the emails as to a solution. They took my $3000+ funds and have not kept their part of the contract. I know I'm not the only person experiencing these issues because I have researched reviews. Please help.

Byte owes me a refund that was approved by Byte management 4 weeks ago - stay away. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so poorly by a business before. Byte owes me (and many others) a refund for not delivering the treatment that I paid for in full. After several years of unsuccessful treatment and multiple refinement plans, they paused all treatments in October 2024. Since then, it’s been impossible to get in touch with someone helpful to provide actual specific information about my case. They owe me a $1945 refund which they still have not issued. I was chatting with a customer service rep for 2 hours yesterday who gave the most dodgy vague responses and refused to connect me with someone who could help my case. Byte, please issue the owed refund that was approved by you 4 weeks ago. You failed to deliver on the agreed upon treatment and then left your customers hanging because you made poor business and treatment decisions inconsistent with FDA requirements.

Paid for the extended retainer warranty in July 25, 2024, order was made for a retainer, promised delivery in two weeks. September 13/2024 comes around and called for a status on the order and they stated the original order number was never processed and created another retainer order and it would take two weeks again. Followed up on 10/16/2024 and ******* said there was a delay and it would take another two weeks. Sent email and got response with the information about the retainer warranty and that the shipments are delayed with no date of when they would be delivered. Filed a dispute with my CareCredit and they are waiting for a response. In the meantime Im getting sent reminders to order my retainers by Jan 10th to keep warranty. I have not received any retainers since the first reuest in July and still waiting now Im concerned they will wait until after Jan10th and and reply with I have failed to order my retainer and the warranty is no longer guaranteed. Ni response to my emails and I get an email stating I need to open a support category which already has been done. Terrible company to resolve issues such as this. Try to resolve it and no answer but they didnt hesitate to charge the amount to the CareCredit. Not happy.
