We sought advice on a large overmature tree (Quercus robur) estimated to be around 120 plus years old which had a Ganoderma applanatum fruiting body at 200mm above ground. As owners we were concerned that the disease might weaken the tree in such a way that its collapse could damage the house and/or garage. The company expert (Tom Thompson) carried out a number of tests on the tree trunk, including VTA, ArboTom Sonic Tomography and Resi tests and a Windload Assessment. The work was professionally carried through as were the conclusions and recommendations. The company completed the task asked of them with competence and a friendly approach.

Found this company via google; very quick and knowledgeable reply to my enquiry (especially compared to some other companies I found...). Did a decay detection test on a large tree, which a tree surgeon suggested to take down. The tree was fine in the end, thankfully! To think that we were actually thinking of going ahead and chopping down a big beautiful tree... Tom is very friendly and professional.
