Service has been spot on every time. Cars have room for being cleaner and better quality check for mechanical issues before handing them over to the customers.

Reserved ahead and drove all the way there just to find out no car was available even though it was reserved. Luckily someone dropped their rental off early and we was able to get one because of that. I think if you allow someone to reserve the vehicle one should be available when you get there. Giving four stars because of the guy that worked the counter was super nice and super helpful

This place never has cars you choose. They always give you whatever piece of crap they have. The last incident happened this morning to where I could not get in the car to return it. She told me how to unlock it, but it still wouldn’t start till I jumped it. I hate those push starts. And then she had the audacity to accuse me of leaving something on which I know I didn’t! I will not be back!!!! Maybe they should thoroughly check their vehicles before renting them out.

DECEITFUL ADVERTISING. I was charged an additional $100 for a vehicle I reserved as I reserved an economy vehicle, which according to Budget's website is a Hyundai Venue or similar (AKA a compact SUV). I was told, both when I picked up the vehicle and returned the vehicle, despite my confirmation email/reservation, that I did not reserve a compact SUV and actually the economy vehicle is the smallest vehicle they have and that all of their smallest vehicles are all electric which I also was not told ahead of time. I was charged the additional fees to get the vehicle I actually reserved and told that if I have a problem with the contract, I would have to contact customer service. Customer service says that I was not charged a fee for upgrading and that the additional charges were for taxes and returning the car to a different location from where I picked it up. I specified in the reservation I was returning it elsewhere, and when I picked up the car there was no mention of this additional fee for returning it to a different location. I have never heard of a rental company adding such a fee after the rental is complete. My confirmed reservation said all fees would be $100 lower than what I ended up being charged. So, I'm out the $100 apparently. But hopefully I can save people from using Budget and their misleading services. I know I will NEVER use them again.

We have rented with Greenwood Budget for the past 8 years. Very happy with them. Great pricing rental vehicals and overal good customer service. We have never had any issues.

I recently just recommended budget to a veteran friend of mine, I went with him for the pick up of the truck. Upon arrival we were barely greeted, as if Nathan didn’t want to speak to us and we were the only customers in the store. Also one half of the lot was blocked by a truck, while the on the other side there was moving construction for the roads. While assisting us the worker attitude was as if he didn’t want to help us with the reservation, I understand people have bad days but if you can’t separate your personal from business then a customer service role is not for you! I have rented from this location several times before and the way he acted as if my veteran friend was trying scam, I was highly disappointed and embarrassed that I even recommended budget. I highly doubt I will be recommending anyone else rent from this location.!

We rented two vehicles from this location back in April. Both were given to us unclean on both the inside and the outside. Today we got a notification from our credit card company that we were being charged for a damaged wheel on one of the rentals five months later. Nobody looked at the car before we left with it and nobody looked at it when we returned it. We were also told when we picked up the rental that a family of five used it to drive to and from Chicago the day before. If I had to guess, that's where the damage came from. Nobody called to tell us that they found damage either. Just charged our credit card five months later. We even paid extra for their insurance, so it should of covered whatever damage they think we caused. I'd only rent from Budget if you want a dirty vehicle and like being scammed.

Called to reserve car for same day their call center said that they had a kia soul to rent get to the location and was told they didnt have anything to rent, i then asked about the rental vans they had that said budget on them sitting in the lot and was also told those was not to rent they had quite a few cars in their lot along with rental vans but was told they had nothing to rent the call center the automated system connects to when no one picks up the phone in the actual location you need to rent from lies and makes a person believe that they are able to rent a vehicle. At the end of the day at the fry road location avis budget i guess all of the vehicles sitting in their lot even the moving vans with budget on them is only for show or to make their lot look full

The staff are VERY kind, and VERY funny. They love to joke, and are very fast & hard working. Picked up 8am and had the car for a week. The jeep I got was cleaned and detailed, ran great. And upon return they were fast and kind AGAIN. Will bring my business back again and again.

I called on the Friday before I needed to pick up the moving truck on Monday and I got told inventory would call me back within 3 hours. No one called me. So I call back and they send another email to inventory and supposedly someone would call me. No one did. I call the next day and these guys canceled my reservation. No one bothered to call me or email me about my reservation. Worse branch ever! You don’t do that to your customers.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! This place is an absolute joke. Completely unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful. If you value your time, money, or even basic decency—STAY AWAY. My sister made a reservation one full month in advance. Everything was confirmed. But when she showed up to pick up the vehicle she reserved, they gave her some ridiculous excuse that the previous renter took the keys, so the car was no longer available. What kind of business model is that? No backup plan. No accountability. Just “sorry, nothing we can do.” They claimed they had no similar vehicles and instead offered her something significantly larger—a gas guzzler she didn’t want and didn’t budget for. My sister, who is not confrontational, accepted it hesitantly because she was confused and caught off guard. She wasn’t even shown the vehicle ahead of time—only realized what she was driving when she stepped outside! As her older sister, I went inside to speak with the agent. While waiting in line, I noticed this same employee assign a vehicle to another customer—a vehicle that could’ve been given to my sister. I was on the phone with our oldest sister, calmly explaining the situation, when the agent suddenly decided to “help” me by skipping everyone in line. She immediately got hostile without even letting me speak. I wasn’t loud, rude, or aggressive—but her tone was nasty and combative from the second she opened her mouth. She then had the nerve to say she didn’t have to talk to me because I wasn’t the renter. Excuse me? I was simply advocating for my sister, who was being taken advantage of. Then she stormed to the back, clearly trying to escalate the situation rather than solve it. I assumed she was calling the police—it turned out to be the owner, who shockingly condoned her unprofessional behavior. My sister then came in herself to try and resolve things peacefully, but the agent continued to make excuses and push blame elsewhere. She acted like she was doing us a favor by offering the wrong vehicle and had zero interest in finding a solution. When we asked if she could confirm with the airport location before we wasted time going there, she replied, “They don’t answer the phone.” What?! She tried to spin the situation as an “upgrade” when in reality, it was a financial burden and a complete failure to honor a reservation. To top it off, when we were still trying to figure out if we should drive to the airport or request a refund, they suddenly declared they would no longer serve us. Then she snatched the paperwork and keys out of my sister’s hand. When I asked her to give us back the contract (our only proof of the rental), she didn’t even have the decency to hand it back like a professional—she shoved it into my hands. Absolutely disgusting behavior. The agent was beyond rude, and the owner was no better. I wouldn’t trust these people with a tricycle, let alone a rental vehicle. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the disappointment—go anywhere else. This is BAD BUSINESS, and they should be ashamed of how they treat customers.
