I was there with my husband we had couple of dishes I loved cheesecake it was fantastic but before cake i hade a pork that was with hair on it they are not cleaning pig before it is done
I asked to the waiter to come explained but sadly they had no reaction
Place is so crowded they don’t care if the customer is not satisfied
The oldest restaurant in the world is definitely worth a visit! Make sure to make a reservation well in advance, because this place is a must-try. I did the dinner menu, which came with an appetizer, the main course of pig, half a bottle of wine, water, and a dessert. The pig was the best i’ve ever had in my entire life, crispy skin and juicy meat! 10/10 recommend!
Went to Botín with my family and we took the restaurant tour followed by a meal. The tour was excellent. The food (part of the package) was good but not spectacular, 3 of us had the suckling pig and one had cod. The suckling pig was a pretty small portion and had one small potato with it. Wine was included and was good.
Overall a very good experience, recommend.
We were unimpressed and underwhelmed at having to queue despite having a booking. It appears that it doesn’t really matter if you book as no one bothered to take our booking details so the threat to take payment for no shows is hollow.
Once in, service was slick if a bit impersonal.
Food was fine but not spectacular. We enjoyed the suckling pig and veal but have both dishes better elsewhere. In fact, accompaniments including the potatoes were actually not great.
