Dear Mr Fisk, We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you have encountered finding an NHS dentist. As the Only Dental practice in Felixstowe currently providing NHS dental services, we receive numerous phone calls daily for Emergency appointments. We have only One dentist in our practice working on NHS. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate everyone on the same day for NHS emergency appointments, as we have full diaries filled with Patients booked weeks/months in advance. We do our best to fit in as many NHS emergencies as possible while also taking care of our Own registered patients. Our practice is fully booked until September, but we do reserve emergency slots for Non-registered patients. These slots fill up quickly! When our NHS emergency slots get filled, we do offer Private emergency appointments if the patient wishes to take them. We have a private dentist working with us who handles private emergency appointments. We understand this system can be frustrating and are truly sorry for any inconvenience you have experienced. We value your feedback and will use it to improve our services. Please know that we are more than happy to accommodate you if any NHS spaces are available. Please try ringing us tomorrow morning for a same-day emergency appointment. In the meantime, if you could try and ring your own Dentist, which you visited regularly in the past, it might also help.
