Classic piano bar in New York’s upper east side. It’s a small place, so the trick is to get there at the optimum time. I think maybe 10:30-11 on a Friday. Most of the bar staff sing, and you can make requests by writing them on a napkin and putting down some bills. It’s super fun if you’re looking for something a little different.
Keep it alive forever. One of the best in the city.
This is again don't judge a book territory. We arrived early and we're considering an early exit as did not look what we imagined first glance. Wow are we pleased we stayed!! What a great night and great entertainmers and guest x
They are all amazing ! We had the best best night ever. From Lauren, to JOHN!!!! (Best piano player in NYC!$), Justin and I cannot forget Maria! What a laugh. So much FUN!!! Lauren was an amazing and quick server.
JD Piano Man 🎹 was 💯
The service at Brandy’s was beyond disappointing. The bartender with short hair and glasses was incredibly aggressive and unprofessional, creating a hostile environment for everyone in the room. She was snapping at people for no reason and making the entire night feel tense and uncomfortable. I won't be returning to a place that treats its paying customers like a nuisance.
Fun, friendly and relaxing
Good music too
We had such a great time! I sang, we had cocktails and just a wonderful crowd to hang with
Great spot, it's changed a bit over the years, but not much. My father used to own or have part interest in this place years ago with a few other people and they ran it very well.It seems to be doing well since it's still there and it changed the name to piano bar. But it was always called Brandy's. Great, please to check out if you're in the area.
Both bartenders: Justin & Maria were on top of their game!! Drinks were on point!!! Singing wait staff were phenomenal!! My girl and I were treated like FAMILY!!! Bouncer was an amazing!!! I’m definitely coming back to have drinks and listen to the pianist ELLIOT!!!
We stumbled by this place on accident the other day and to our surprise it was popping for a Sunday night! The live music was incredible. This usually isn’t the type of music I listen to but I loved it. Everybody is really nice. The drinks are reasonably priced; it was $13 for my Tom Collins. However be warned; they are S T R O N G. I’ve never tasted a Tom Collins that strong in my life and almost died after half of the drink. Unfortunately, I made the bad decision of getting another Tom Collins (there is a 2 drink minimum per person when there is live music) and that really killed me. They’re really out here giving us the best value for our money which I appreciate.
Not allowed to dance in a piano bar…
