Bournes came in person to do an assessment of the property which was reassuring. The team in the office were helpful. The team who came to load were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble, we had no breakages and anything which was taken apart was put back together.

Helpful and efficient throughout…
Had used Bournes Removals before. Nonetheless obtained other quotations, but these were both dearer and less professionally handled. So very pleased that we did choose Bournes. All of their staff were friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. They kept us informed throughout. Our move involved keeping our furniture in store for some 8 weeks. They prepared a full inventory for storage and checked that off when finally delivered. Everything was in perfect order when received… no breakages, no damage. Better still, Bournes had overestimated the storage volume, but only charged us for actual volume and, similarly, refunded an overpayment for time in store. We truly cannot fault their work. We recommend this company without hesitation.
Excellent Service with a Smile
This is the second time we have used Bournes Removals and as ever the whole operation was very efficient and well supervised. We had a two day move and all our wishes for which articles got moved initially were adhered to, making our life a lot easier. The four guys who moved us were good fun, incredibly fast but very, very careful....unfortunately their taste in music left a lot to be desired but nothing was too much trouble, even my massive tree ferns and palm trees Would I use Bournes again? ABSOLUTELY!!
Moved from England to Europe and everything was smooth and fast. Good comunication from the beginning and really helpfull at all moment during the process. They made me a quote before and then after to check my place and my things. Made sure that everything was wrapped and ready for the delivery on time.

Bourne Removals were great in helping us ship our possessions from the UK to New Zealand. Everything went smoothly and timeframes were as predicted, so we were able to plan around it. Contact was maintained throughout the process. Highly recommended.
BM went out of their way to accommodate us at short notice, at a time when everyone was busy and the whole move went smoothly. Minor hiccups along the way, but in the end we got moved on time and the team were respectful and communicated well. Thanks all for helping us out of a tricky situation!

The customer service we received from Bournes Moves exceeded our expectations. The crew were professional, friendly, and efficient, going above and beyond to help in the day. The support from head office was excellent, and Alexandra was contactable throughout the day, and provided good follow-up service to ensure we were happy with the removal process.
A Which Trusted Trader? Not deserved in my opinion and experience.
After obtaining three quotes for my move and making each removal company fully aware of the nature of the move, I chose to use Bournes. The estimate included wrapping and moving a heavy stone sculpture, pictures, books and some furniture. On the day of the move the crew had not been briefed about the nature of the move, neither did they comply with the express condition that the stone sculpture should be wrapped which would have protected it when it was later dropped. On arrival at the destination property the crew refused to deliver the sculpture to the rear garden. Subsequent calls to Bournes, and with the help of Which Trusted Traders, eventually resulted in Bournes agreeing to send a crew who were in the area to complete the move. And we agreed that this would take place by the end of June. At the end of June Bournes changed their decision and instead offered me £50 as a good will gesture. This I declined as the cost of bringing in another removal company to complete the work was £180. Weeks went by, and despite the best endeavours of Which Trusted Traders and later on BAR, Bournes continually dragged their feet in replying, neither offering me £180 or issuing a deadlock letter for the Ombudsman. After three months Bournes increased the goodwill offer to £180 which I accepted In my opinion Bournes were not only in breach of my contract with them but also fell far short of the compliance codes of both Which Trusted Traders and BAR.
Brilliant Bournes
I have used Bournes for 3 separate legs of a recent home move from SE London to the Sussex coast, including their packing and storage services. From first contact they have been professional and reliable and I’m sure they made moving less stressful than it otherwise could have been. Whilst other firms were requesting that we compile our own inventory (a nightmare) or shoot a video, Bournes visited and completed their own survey. All admin was handled efficiently and the removal team were excellent. It may have been slightly more expensive than other firms but we felt in safe hands and they proved it was worth the extra cost.
Moved London to Sydney with Bournes and the packaging was amazing: 2 or 3 layers on artwork for example and a mirrored chest of drawers expertly boxed.
Zero breakages after shopping and 6 months storage with Conroys , their Aussie agent/partner.

Bournes have been exceptional, especially as we are still beholden to C-19. The organisation at head office was first class and then when it came to move the communications provided us with the right information so that I could plan my working day around the movers.
The movers were excellent, efficient and were really friendly and the contents of my house arrived safely.
Overall an excellent company and one that I would hands down use again. Thank you Bournes.
House move out into Storage for 2 months then Delivery out of storage to permanent address
The whole process was organised well at each stage by Bournes (Move manager Cristina who was very efficient and friendly) obviously there were the added obstacles of Covid conditions. But each stage was handled professionally and efficiently. We were very pleased with the way everything went smoothly. Particularly final stage with only two crew members who dealt with job well.
