Grosvenor has always provided an exceptional quality of service since I first went to them in 2022. Over the last 3 years they have provided an exceptional quality service, both with regard to annual maintenance and the diagnosis and repair of other parts of my Clubman S that had become faulty.
I could not recommend them more highly - the staff are polite and communicative, and the work they carry out is done to a very high standard.

My advice would be do not take your car to Grosvenor for repair work.
I will never go to Grosvenor again.
I had flattened my car battery, which caused a corruption on the circuit board for the body control system, which resulted in a number of faults, and this is a well known issue, which is cured by reprogramming the circuit board for the body control system.
They quoted and then charged me £180 to reprogram the circuit board. This was expensive compared to other garages but I foolishly placed my trust in them.
A short while after I picked up the car, one of the symptoms returned, which was the parking brake not working.
I returned the car to the garage thinking this fault would be rectified under guarantee. They ran a diagnostic which confirmed a fault. They initially refused to give me the result of the diagnostic. They insisted that they had not caused the fault, and that the DSC unit was faulty and needed replacing. I was somewhat horrified by this, as I suspected this was a consequence of the way the circuit board had been programmed. They refused to reprogram the circuit board again, so I asked them to stop the work on the vehicle, and provide a quotation for the work they wanted to do.
They estimated this would cost £2,855.05 and I refused to have this done. They charged me £89.90 for the work they had done so far which was to run a diagnostic and then refuse to give me the result.
I insisted on knowing what the diagnostic had said and they spoke to a mechanic reluctantly who confirmed it was a wheel speed sensor fault. This diagnostic code is commonly associated with the programming of the body control system circuit board, and so I was convinced I was right, and that they were wrong in trying to do expensive unnecessary work.
I took the car instead to Courtneys Garage in Henley. I was initially charged £100 to repair a leaking radiator hose and run a diagnostic which confirmed the same fault. Courtneys immediately said that this was likely to be a an issue with the programming of the body control circuit board.
Courtneys Garage charged me £96 for reprogramming the circuit board, which is £84 less than Grosvenor Motor Company charged me for the same work. Courtneys Garage also reprogrammed a number of various systems, saying this was necessary because the version levels being different between the systems, could cause this issue.
This was in February 2024. Grosvenor had told me, that if they reprogrammed the body control circuit board again, that the fault would probably return, which is why they had to change the DSC unit.
It is now 15 months later. The fault has not returned. I paid Courtneys Garage £96 to do the work, and I am so glad that I didn't pay Grosvenor £2,855.05 for unnecessary work!

Exceptionally helpful
Exceptionally helpful. Took my M4 there for MOT, etc... and found out that there's something wrong with its diagnostics. Called my warranty company and they said that the garage must phone them up and explain it. Despite they don't deal with this sort of things, but kindly they offered their help. Also communication is excellent.

I have most recently had my aircon radiator replaced and the aircon refilled. Great service, easy to book & fast to diagnose issues and come up with solutions. Given for service and came back with new issue
The car was given for diagnostic services last week where a "fuel vent valve replacement" was identified for which an amount of £393 was quoted. The job was given and was done quickly which was impressive however when i collected my car i noticed that the gear stick was hard and wasn't moving as it was before i gave for service. I found it very strange as the stick was very smooth before i gave them. When i reached home i could sense it was still tight. I waited for a couple of days to see if this will persist and the next day a new warning came up in dash board saying "securing vehicle with parking brake". When asked if they have touched or tightened the gear stick without checking with us Grosvenor claims that they havn't done anything or the issue is not related to they tightening the gear stick . Now the quote for the replacement of the gear unit is around £958 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they seem to be washing their hands off!

First and foremost, I would like to say my experience at Grosvenor BMW was very welcoming. Spoke to Justin (who I wanted to speak to regarding CarPlay retrofitting) and the whole process took less than an hour. They are rip off,they charged £850 supposed to take out my bmw turbos,one of them d.h said we gonna put it in the boot,towed the car and my mecanic said they didn't removed the turbos,argued with them,they saying we never said to remove turbos.Be aware....they charge you for break cleaner £7 every time

I don’t recommend to no one to go to this garage i got a bmw is been taken down to the garage for replacement timing chain at the end the engine blew up because the timing chain is not been replaced and nothing els I got all proof they didn’t work on this engine and nothing is been replaced now what it’s saying on the invoice
Stas Plamadeala, we have taken a moment to look you up by searching you on Google and we can see that you are working at HiQ tyres and based fairly locally in Bracknell. We are disappointed to see this review as it does not accurately reflect the situation as this vehicle come to us via a car trader and unfortunately, the vehicle in question does have a very troubled history.
To clarify, the receipt you have is dated August 2023. The engine currently in your car is not the engine we worked on (check the engine numbers).
This vehicle suffered major trauma and was sold by a trader back into the trade, with a replacement used (from another scrap vehicle) fitted after our involvement. The original engine, which we carried out work, has long since been scrapped. If you check the engine numbers, you will be able to confirm this for yourself.
If you have any concerns or would like to understand more about the vehicle’s past, we strongly recommend speaking to the trader you purchased it from. Alternatively, we encourage you to get in touch with Justin or Barry here at our garage, who would be happy to go through the history of the car with you.
We take pride in our work and always aim for the highest standards so it is frustrating to receive an undeserved review from someone that has found an old receipt and a keyboard rather than reaching out to us.
