It is extremely rare these days to find a highly skilled professional who also cares for his craft and his customer, treating the job as if he's doing it for himself.
Alex is all of that and more. After working with him I cannot imagine going with anyone else. The only problem is I can't give him 6/5.
Great experience from booking to having the service done. Alex is very friendly and gave me a lot of advice about other things around the house. He was very knowledgeable and explain things to me. They were also the most affordable and I’m glad I went with them!

The service I received from both Alex and Jodie was excellent. I contacted them about an ongoing leak that I had in my shower in an en-suite that had got in behand the tiles and damaged the plasterboard. In quick succession, Alex visited to assess the issue and provide an explanation of all of the options available and provided a quote with several options shortly after the visit. In the end, due to the damage and the age of the shower, I decided to go with a complete new shower fitting (valve, tiles, tray etc.).
Alex provided a very professional service over the three days it took to complete the fitting. The en-suite and the routes in and out of my property were fully covered so that no mess was left. Alex was friendly, approachable and explained everything he was doing during every major stage of the fitting and most importantly for a tradesman, he turned up when he said he would turn up. The result was a high quality fitting that looks amazing. I am very happy with the result and will be booking Blue Whale Plumbing for future jobs.

Alex has carried out several plumbing works for us, including fixing a burst pipe and running replacement pipework. Most recently he renovated our main bathroom. We are very happy with the result. Communication from Alex and Jodie was great before and throughout the works, and they made sure everything ran to schedule despite fitting in some extras for us. They gave us helpful advice on layout and choice of products as well as fitting. Alex is extremely knowledgeable and took a lot of care, looking after our house and cleaning up before he left every day. The finished bathroom was spotless (I think he left the windows cleaner than before he started!). Prices are very reasonable and transparent - no nasty surprises.
