Crispy rice is a must. I visited in a big group for a birthday and had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend for a special occasion, I’m always impressed when larger classy restaurants like this exist in Manhattan. The sushi was fresh and flavorful. And we loved the lychee-tinis on the cocktail menu!

Just ok.. the sushi was falling apart..
This location takes the menu to the next level, offering even more options than their other spot. Some standouts for us were the veggie tempura, ebi shumai, and the surprisingly addictive grilled avocado — a new personal favorite! The crispy rice also deserves a special mention for its perfect crunch and flavor.
The space is generous, making it ideal for large groups, and the full bar adds a fun touch to any outing. Sitting at the sushi bar is always a treat — watching the chefs work is both entertaining and impressive. The vibe strikes a perfect balance: you can come casual or dress up for a night out. The dim lighting, stylish décor, and attention to detail make it feel elevated without being intimidating. Service was friendly and attentive, rounding out an all-around fantastic experience.
💯🔥👍
I recently got dinner at this location with a group of my gals to celebrate one of their birthdays, and had a pretty good experience. I would rank it pretty moderate — not perfect but not horrible either.
I will be very raw and honest off the bat to start here because I was actually so disappointed in the quality of their cocktails. They have a BEAUTIFUL bar — I mean stunning like I would love to work there. And the drinks are super pricey which is fine — but that being said I was expecting to indulge in some excellent/top notch cocktails... but that wasn't the case at all. This place is not skilled in mixology even to the slightest. I sent back the first drink I ordered (which I NEVER do but it was expensive and it was so bad I literally couldn't even drink it). I then ordered a skinny margarita and it also was pretty disappointing. It tasted watery and unbalanced — I couldn't tell if there was tequila in there either. It was like watery lime juice LOL. I also tasted my friend's lychee cocktail which she did enjoy, but I thought it tasted like straight lychee syrup. The drink was unbalanced again and didn't taste anything like a cocktail.
The reason I am giving this place a 3 overall is partly because of their cocktail quality, but also because of their portions sizes. I thought the overall atmosphere and service was pretty moderate (nothing stood out), and the food quality itself was excellent... but I left HUNGRY. I wanted to order more but honestly it was pricey — and I knew I was still gonna be hungry if I did LOL. If I am going to spend what I did I want bigger portions not 5 bites of food. Again the food quality was fabulous, might I even say a 10/10, but so insanely small.
High end sushi & steak, great little bar while your waiting. Gotta say, a hidden gem when it comes to NY Steak. One of the best I've had recently. Staff quick& accommodating.

Yay! Thanks Mila!
This place feels like a hidden slice of Japan tucked beneath New York’s streets. Walking down the lantern-lit staircase instantly sets the mood — calm, cozy, and a little mysterious.
The sashimi platter was beautifully presented, especially the seared fish with that light smokiness. Everything tasted fresh, though a couple of pieces could’ve been sliced a bit thinner for balance.
The service was attentive without being pushy, and the staff seemed genuinely proud of their craft. Prices are what you’d expect for quality sushi in Manhattan — not cheap, but fair for what you get.
Overall, it’s the kind of spot you bring someone when you want to slow down, have great food, and feel like you’ve stepped out of the city for a bit. Would definitely come back for another round of sashimi and sake!

Stylish and lively spot on the Lower East Side offering top-notch sushi alongside creative izakaya dishes. The vibe is upscale-casual, perfect for late dinners, sake with friends, or a solo treat. Fresh fish, great cocktails, and a warm atmosphere make it a standout for sushi lovers after dark!

Overpriced not worth it. Looks nice tho.
Cute date spot! Food is delicious, wouldn’t say it’s life changing but if you’re craving sushi it’ll definitely scratch that itch. Felt nice and light afterwards too. Staff was kind and helpful!
EDIT: had to come back and say the spicy tuna crispy rice appetizer absolutely was life changing
