This company is a disaster. Buyer beware do your homework before choosing this company. They have damaged my home, over charged me several times, provided absolutely horrible customer service, left supplies and trash around my house for months, and were several months past expectation for completion. I deeply regret choosing Blue Haven.
Initial meeting and install was great. Get to us sooner than expected pool was operational by April of 2024.
We had Blue Haven back to close our pool for the year and the employees doing so were extremely rude to my wife and I. We just shrugged it off and had them re open the pool to learn it was not shut down properly and our pool heater that is imperative to using the pool in the early months of the year was broken due to this process. After months of fighting someone finally came out to determine that it was broken beyond repair and it would need to be replaced. They did replace it and we lost half of a season in this process.
We sold this home. In doing so we learned the fence Blue Haven who worked with a sub contractor to install as a requirement of having the pool was installed outside of our property line. I immediately reached out to Don about this. His response was that they went of the plot plan that we gave him that was supplied by the county and did not do a survey because previous customers did not like to pay for it to understand where the fence legally needed to be placed. Due to this we were on our own to resolve this matter. This cost our family 1800 dollars.I simply asked Don during this conversation who I should have our legal representation to reach out to at Blue Haven and his response was “it’ll cost a lot more for an attorney than it would to move your fence back in Barret. Quite a bit more, but you can have them reach out to Blu Haven.” “In a whole lot more time. I told Ruben it was urgent because you’re moving December 2 so he’s gonna come pretty Quickly but I can tell him to hold off if you wanna get your attorney involved.” My family and I feel violated and talked down to by this response when we simply wanted a resolution to a problem we did not cause. We were not given a choice to not have a survey completed and then were told by Blue Haven we were responsible for the cost of the error. 1800.00
We are very happy we chose Blue Haven Pools to do our pool with grotto.
It was a large project and they were very willing to try to work around timing of other components of construction as we had the pool done at the same time as we built our new home.
Amazingly they were able to end on schedule and we got our pool, fence and Sundeck done before the end of year.
We haven't been able to swim in it yet as it was too cold but we are super excited for next year.
Donald Kuhn was our designer. We highly recommend him especially if you are thinking about doing a grotto.
Samantha was amazing to work with on scheduling and project progress.
They came out and closed our pool for the winter. Their communication was fantastic. Shortly after they left our house they sent me an email with tons of pictures showing what they did! We are somewhat new to this pool thing. I believe we have finally found a pool company that we can trust to take care of our pool.

From the start of the pool project Don sales person was outstanding!!!! Walked us through the design and quite the design it was!! His expert knowledge on the process was easy to understand throughout the project. The construction team was outstanding to work with. The front office folks are always professional, courteous, and could answer my questions in real-time or connect me to the right person to answer any/all questions. Blue Haven's Service Department has been great to work with over the past year Sara, Todd, and the entire service team.
The owner Mark has reached out to me several times throughout the project asking is there any concerns/questions.
Blue Haven has built our dream pool and it has been is several publications and a few more this Fall.

Don was our sales rep, and we really couldn’t have asked for a better one. Even though he was heading out of town when we first contacted him, he still took the time to come by, look over our backyard, and send us a design that matched exactly what we were looking for.
Throughout the process—before, during, and after construction—Don was great about following up and answering all of our questions. The subcontractors he used were top-notch, and the quality of work was excellent. Don didn’t just sell us a pool and disappear—he stayed involved and available the whole time.
Todd from the start-up team was also fantastic. He got everything up and running and gave us a full walk-through (“pool school”) to explain how to manage the equipment and water quality. He was super knowledgeable and patient, and we really appreciated the time he took.
We’d happily recommend Don, Todd, and the entire Blue Haven team to anyone thinking about putting in a pool. Like with any construction project, there were a few bumps—but they handled everything professionally and really went above and beyond.

Tiles started falling off the surface of the pool, you might have guessed it..... shortly after the warranty expired!!! We now have 24 tiles that have fallen and for a price, they will send out someone but now I don't trust that they have people who will stand by their work. Spent a pretty penny on this pool and I'm seriously disappointed, now!!

My husband and I began our pool journey last September when we found a lot to build a house with the intention of immediately installing a pool. Before committing to the house we walked into Blue Haven to get a rough estimate on a pool to see if our plans would financially be possible. Don Kuhn took the time to sit down with us (even though we were a walk ins). Don showed and explained our options with our budget. We have had six pool installations in the last 35 years (we move a lot). We liked Don’s approach and perspective on a pool installation (it aligned with us and what we have previously experienced). Blue Haven also had the exact pool design we wanted and was able to install it within our quick time frame. This was our first fiberglass pool installation. We loved how fast the process was and we were quite impressed with the owner being there from day one and throughout the install process too. Mark was not only there, he physically did work! We were “wowed”! We were also impressed with the concrete work. The concrete crew worked as a team and we are very happy with the results. I cannot forget Todd (pool school) and the fence install guys - kudos to them too! We have had some rough pool installations in the past - this is by far the best, most seamless experience we have had. Highly recommend Blue Haven!

Where to start
This process has been anything but smooth or on any type of a true schedule.
Broke pipes and hid it instead of fix until I told them what they did
Salesman will tell you what you want to hear in beginning to get the sale!
Removed my fence and broke it simply because they couldn’t put it somewhere safe instead of piling dirt ontop of it.
List goes on but the biggest issue is selling you a pool without the rest of the company following through on promises.

Despite a record amount of rain, the project is still on track to be completed within the expected timeframe per contract.

Overall a good experience. Don our salesman was very easy to work with and took his time to explain information. Very customer driven and helpful. Don is very helpful even after the work is complete.
We couldn’t be happier with our new pool built by Blue Haven! From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, the entire team (Aaron, Zach, Sam and Todd) were professional, responsive, and clearly experienced. They helped us design a custom pool that perfectly fits our backyard and lifestyle, offering great suggestions along the way without pushing unnecessary upgrades.
The project was completed on schedule, and the quality of workmanship is outstanding — everything from the tile work to the landscaping turned out beautifully. The crew kept the worksite clean and were respectful throughout the process. They also did a great job keeping us informed with regular updates.

For years my wife and I dreamed about putting a pool in our backyard but there always seemed to be something that kept us from pulling the trigger. Last summer we contacted Blue Haven Pool and Spas in St. Peters, MO and met with Don Kuhn, let’s just say the rest is history. Don helped us design a pool that has not just met our dreams but surpassed them. We look out at our backyard today and cannot believe we have this gorgeous pool. Don helped us with the design, color selection and added features like our waterfall. From there, Sam Medina got the schedule and crews working. Zach Trudo and Ismail acted as our Superintendents and the professionalism from these two as well as everyone that entered our yard was second to none. I cannot emphasize enough the respect I have for the entire Blue Haven team and the attention to detail they provided. I also want to give a shout out to Todd Hartupee on teaching us how to operate all the gadgets and programs that came with the pool.
I happened to stop by the Blue Have facility last week and ran into Don, he asked if there was anything we would have done differently, I said no, other than possibly pulling the trigger years earlier.
