Our Blue Haven pool was built in 2021. We recently had issues with our equipment which was luckily under warranty. BH’s warranty team was quick to respond, replace the parts, and get my pool working again. Julia in the warranty office was responsive and helpful and the technician Brad is very professional.

We are in the final days of our pool building process and very happy with the result and process along the way. We had Jason McAtee for our project manager He was always very straightforward and answered all of our questions along the way and ensured that things got done the right way.

Update 7/17/24: We had a warranty issue with Blue Haven. However, Julia Neville (warranty service) provided outstanding customer service to resolve an issue on our new pool. She kept us informed thru out the process of our warranty claim and ensured things got done with 100% customer satisfaction . She made the whole process with Blue Haven a pleasant experience. Kudos for her time and effort as well as the hard work by the new manager at BH Freeport, Thomas Moore. their customer satisfaction actions are the best. From their designer (Rick R.) to their wonderful and efficient office staff (Morgan) to their operations superintendent (Thomas) to Julia Neville in warranty we had the best home pool building experience. Equally important is the superb warranty communication process thru out the pool building process and the continued accommodation to the homeowners. We appreciate the smooth operations from dig out to gunite to the paver install.. The crews did an excellent professional job with minimal disturbance. It was such a pleasant experience to deal with such professionals to include their finance personnel. Blue Haven made the whole process a great experience for us. My experience with Blue Haven Pools has been ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS from beginning to end. I am absolutely thrilled with how my pool build turned out. From our initial consultation with Nick Frazier we knew this was the company we wanted to build our dream. Nick was patient, informative and knowledgeable and overall easy to work with. I was quickly introduced to my Project Manager, Ed Hawkins. I had read great things about Ed in other reviews and was secretely hoping he would be assigned to our build. He did not disappoint! His communication, professionalism, knowledge, patience and guidance was simply top notch. If I could give him 10 stars I would with zero hesitation. He follows thru every time, responds quickly to questions, and definetely gets the job done! He is consciensious of time lines and concerns and quick to address the workers with instructions. Ed is overall a great guy and I could not be happier with his attention to detail and communication. Thank you so much Blue Haven for making my pool dream come to life and making this experience so smooth for us. My pool is getting so many compliments and definetely has our neighbors talking! We just had our pool installed by Blue Haven. Jason McAtee was our project manager. We were one hundred percent satisfied with Blue Haven…especially Mr. McAtee! My husband was very sick through most of the process, and Jason went out of his way to help us out and make sure everything was completed quickly. He even came by himself to brush down the pool when he knew I was in the hospital with my husband. It was very easy to follow the progress through the Builder App and Jason was always quick to answer emails or phone calls. I highly recommend Blue Haven!

I had a warranty request and Julia responded to my email and handled it incredibly fast. Bucky arrived the same week, corrected my problem and was helpful with showing me things with my equipment I wasn’t aware of, and even labeled valves! 5 stars! Thank you!

Edwas great during the installation of our pool. Responded to my messages. Stay in communication. Blue Haven did a great job as well of providing the subcontractors, but it was well coordinated through Ed greatly appreciate it and the pool looks great.

Well I should have waited on my review. So I deleted my original. If you leave a review with this company please wait a couple months till after build. Yes it looked good at first. I had many issues with the build process. But we are now past that. My wife has been emailing back and forth with warranty now for 3 weeks. They came out and looked at the plaster and basically said it looked white because of water chemistry. Asked me for the water samples. I told them you hired the company that maintained the water for two months. Which by the way is now out of business. They came and treated the pool. The white is somewhat gone. Then sent a pool texh out to balance the water back out. The next day I took a water sample to our local ace hardware. The ph was way out of control. Which they said they balanced it. Next we now have a cracked fire pit, glue on stones, stones coming apart. All we keep hearing is we are working on getting our sub out there. Well I didn’t pay your sub. So send a Blue haven employee in which I can speak too. Not over email and pictures. This pool was 150000 a big investment. And it looks like this! I could go on about our entire experience with blue haven. But I would run out of space. And hit my character limit. I would like to speak to the owner on the phone. But can’t seem to find his number anywhere.

My Blue Haven pool was completed over 2 years ago. In the last 2 weeks, nearly all of my coping came loose at the same time. It was very strange and something that no one had ever heard of happening before. I contacted Blue Haven Warranty (Julia Neville) who put me in touch with Morgan Moore. Morgan came by to assess the problem and contacted the sub contractor. The sub came with his crew, removed all coping, all dried mortar, and reattached the coping; however, it created a massive mess in the pool. BH (Julia and Morgan) once again helped by getting Bucky Easton to come out and work his magic! My pool is now perfectly clean and crystal clear (see video). Bottom line…5 star review for BH and everyone mentioned who all went above and beyond to solve a problem that basically never happens. I’m very impressed and grateful! Thanks Julia, Morgan, and Bucky!

EDITED TO ADD INSPECTION REVIEW- Once our beautiful pool was finished, we began to panic/wonder how to get a final inspection done. There was no need for that as Tamara Stamm literally took the reins and scheduled everything once we emailed her. We couldn’t believe how easy she made the process. She even gave suggestions on which pool alarms are approved for inspections which really takes the guess work out. Blue Haven really has a great team and super glad we went with them vs the other pool companies that we contacted. Huge thanks, Tamara! ————————————————————— We have just finished our pool and could not be happier with the process. Jason McAtee was our project manager. While he wasn’t our original PM, you couldn’t tell the way Jason jumped right in. Any questions or concerns were answered promptly. He and his crew made this process so easy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will rave and recommend to others.

Ed Hawkins was a great project manager. He was responsive and the work was completed on time. Ed communicated well with us and worked with us on expectations and change orders. Our pool turned out beautifully. Thanks Ed and Blue Haven.

Beware 1. Do not sign off on your pool plaster unless the pool is 100% empty. The water camouflages the defects. Intentional? We don’t know. 2. Leak in pool. Pool completely drained when we hit a conduit that was less than 8” deep. It turns out that the light in the spa is controlled by this wire and all of the spa drained out from the light. (BH states no leak) but mysteriously now they are fixing the leak on the light bc the light is disassembled in the spa. This is how we found the plaster jobs was seriously deficient and looks horrible with thinset and grout all over our tile. Finally the GM of this area sends a scathing email denying any responsibility and stating without ever being at my residence the conduit was plenty deep. Based solely on the photos I sent. I guess we don’t haul dirt in after the pool is built. This is crazy. So is there a workmanship warranty or when you sign off saying it looks ok a full release??? We shall see

Sean was our supervisor - he was responsive and reachable by texting and calling. He would stop by and check on progress. Sean answered questions or found out the answers. Everyone that came to work on the pool - during the multiple phases - was pleasant and performed their jobs smoothly.

Can't say enough good things about my experience with Blue Haven Pools! I had a timeline that I really needed to keep, and although they didn't promise, which I really appreciate the honesty, they did assure me that they would make every effort to accommodate that request. My first meeting with Nick went well, as did my meeting with Morgan who helped me with tile, coping and plaster color choices. She was very patient with me and after my time with her I felt good about my decisions. My project manager was Jason McAtee. I truly felt comfortable from the first day we met. He assured me that my pool build would be done in a timely manner. And that he would make every effort to make sure I was pleased with the quality of the job as well. He has been a pleasure to work with throughout the process!! Even the folks involved in the dig, tile and coping, and final grade were all professional.
