The pool they built for us is beautiful. I really liked having the 3D rendition of it from Stephen when we were designing it. It made it easy to see what the finished product would look like in our yard space. I am giving 4 stars because the communication is lacking. Often times it took me reaching out to them several times before getting a response back. I feel that if I didn’t put pressure on them at times, things didn’t get done. I understand they have more customers they are building pools for at the same time, but communication goes a long way to make a customer feel valued.

Excellent workmanship! We will be enjoying thus pool for a very long time.

While we didn’t go through with a pool at our current house, Stephen coming by and mapping everything out and giving us renderings really help us see what kind of space we need for the pool of our dreams. We will definitely be calling Blue Haven again!

Let me start by saying WE ARE THRILLED WITH OUR NEW BLUE HAVEN POOL. We embarked on the remodel of our backyard several months ago. It was a blank canvas, and we had a lot to accomplish to create our dream backyard. The pool was, of course, the lynchpin and centerpiece. However, visualizing what a pool and deck would look like, along with the other elements we were building, was challenging. Enter Steve from Blue Haven! Steve listened intently to our needs and vision. Out of the many bids and proposals we received, he was one of only two companies that actually measured out different pool options, calculated, and demonstrated the height of a retaining wall needed (our yard slopes) and what it would look like behind or in front of the pool. Steve even painted the grass to show the pool’s actual size on the ground. Thank goodness he did this! He saved us from the major mistake of building our pool too small and being disappointed. In a short space of time, we locked in our optimum pool size, covering form, function, and cost—all extremely important. Steve then presented us with a 3D walkthrough of our pool, pergola, decking, retaining wall, and new grass the next day. This allowed us to fine-tune and lock in the design and price. Bring on the construction! We set Steve and the team a challenge: we wanted the pool open for my wife’s birthday celebration. The Blue Haven team said it would be one of the fastest times to get a pool built and clients swimming, but they rose to the challenge, and guess what? They did it. Every part of the construction and installation went smoothly, with oversight from Jim or someone else from the office when Jim was on vacation. The team was only a phone call or text away to answer any questions. Despite two weeks of on-and-off rain, they still met the dates and delivered quality work. At times, the owner of the local operation made trips out to check on things and ensure everything was completed to their (and our) high standards. As with all big projects, things don’t always go to plan—that’s just life. However, the Blue Haven team was professional with slight missteps. Even if it was something a contractor missed, Blue Haven owned the issue and resolved it. I always say it’s not the issues you look at but how a company steps up to the plate and handles them. In this respect, they were A+. In some areas, they went above and beyond and surprised us with a few extra features, such as creating a seating area with his and hers sections (shorter seating for my wife and friends who are shorter 😉). The design help and advice from Blue Haven team ensured we had the pool of our dreams — something many other companies lacked or took days/weeks to answer a question or even produce a quote. Additionally, as we wanted some custom decking, Steve put us in contact with the concrete contractor they used and suggested we deal directly with them to save money and avoid the middleman’s cut. This honesty and customer-first approach worked out great. As they worked and knew the contractor, it was seamless from our side as they coordinated and got the job done—a win-win for us. As I said at the beginning, we are THRILLED and would not hesitate to recommend Blue Haven to anyone. In fact, I already have. Such a great company—from the owners and their family who work in the business to the project and sales teams to the contractors they use—all first-class and customer-focused.

We had several pool companies bid our pool build. Daniel is the only one that came in with a plan and a visual of what it would look like in our backyard. He listened to all of our requests and helped us to design the perfect pool for us. He worked hard along side of Pedro and Esmerelda at the office to keep us within in our budget and made concessions to help us out. Jim was our project manager and he too was very professional and great to work with. As we went through the construction project there were complications. Weather delays (It rained almost every day in May), delivery delays, and sometimes crew delays. However, they pushed really hard and completed the project in just over 12 weeks! Throughout the entire process we had a lot of questions. Pedro, Esmerelda, Dan and Jim were happy to answer our questions and keep us updated on the next steps in the process. All in all, we had a fantastic experience with Blue Haven pools and if we ever move, we will use them again.

This company was great to work with. They built us a custom pool and spa and we couldn’t be happier with the final product. They are an honest group of people who do what they say and will continue to work on things until it’s just right. We recently had some small issues with our equipment and they quickly got us on the schedule and got everything fixed up. I Highly recommend working with Pedro and Juan.

I contemplated writing a review and decided I want other people to know what they’re getting into before they make such a huge commitment. We hired Blue haven pools to install our dream pool we had planned. We talked to a few companies, and then between two companies decided on Blue haven because we liked their drawing and the experience thus far had been pleasant. We also went with them because they said we would be completed by end of July. Once they started, the experience changed. They would say they were coming and I wouldn’t hear anything from anybody for days. Then they made a remark to me that we are outside of the service area. However, when I hired this company, they advised me they service my area. Then when here to grade, they would work for an hour and break for 2. Which I thought was fine until I received the bill for grading on 14 hours. Granted they adjusted the bill so I thought ok we are off again. However, it just turned out to be disastrous. The pool was not completed until November. They made a mess of cement all around the pool and advised me that the landscapers will fix that when they design. However, landscapers charge you to dig up the concrete so there’s another unnecessary expense from this company. Then they sent me a bill for the extra amount of concrete and I never approved it. So, when hiring this company expect to receive a bill that you are unaware of and nobody has talked to you about and it won’t be a little bill. it’ll be thousands of dollars that happened periodically through this entire experience. It was truly one of our most awful experiences with a company and I would do your research thoroughly before using this company. It was bad experience after bad experience and wish I had went through another company. I gave two stars because the people I dealt with are nice but that was the only reason I gave any stars there were more occurrences, but I don’t want to make this a five page review

Pedro and his team built a beautiful pool and spa for us. Anytime there was a hiccup or issue, he was on top of it and took care of it. Juan was also very helpful with every customer service need that we had.

Awesome company who built me a beautiful pool. There where some bumps in the road but after 2 other pool contractors did shady work blue haven came and saved the day. 100% recommended them l.
