My experience with Blue Haven was as good as it was going to get. I worked with Mr. James Love in the beginning phase and stayed in contact with him until the Final Phase. His guidance and experience made the project shape out the way we agreed upon. Mr. James explained each phase and provided assistance when issues came up. He pointed me to certain people and magic happened, The issue was resolved. Thank you, James!

Exceeded our expectations

Install WAS going great until I paid them in full 3 weeks ago. Up until then Steve gave me a weekly update which was good enough given that they were well organized. After I made the final payment Blue Haven completely changed for the worse. Steve went MIA for a week. Didn't have anyone to cover his time off after that. Didn't have final prep and plaster lined up which was really out of character for them. They started filling the pool on a Friday with no instructions. Nobody answers a call or brief text to let me know if I'm doing any of this right. I called a Blue Haven competitor who answered the phone and advised that I put an iron filter on the end of my hose. That 3 minute call cut the amount of iron in my pool in half. On Monday I get the "packet" from Blue Haven that has all the instructions of how to fill the pool. Tells me not to use well water if I can avoid it as well as a whole bunch of important information to avoid damaging the pool and over stressing the water softener. Nobody mentioned that I could bring in a water truck. I get a strong sense that I'm not liked by Blue Haven. If the rest of this journey to pool ownership improves I'll update this review, but Blue Haven is really struggling right now.

I would have never imagined that this project could go so smooth and turn out so amazing. I researched 4 pool companies in the North FL area and not one could compare to the price or the value of what Blue Haven offered. Blue Haven had workers on site, non stop, one after another working on my pool and it was done quicker than I had hoped. The craftsmanship is absolutely top quality. Everyday I look at my pool and it makes me feel happy. It has been extremely easy to maintain and I get non stop compliments on how beautiful it turned out. I loved the process and cannot be happier. Highly recommend this company and the products they offer.

James Love, Sean and Nicole were great! Our pool is beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the service received! We loved the company so much when we decided to build another pool at our new house, we went with them again!

Working with Jim to design our dream pool and patio. He’s easy to work with and listens to your concerns. Cannot comment on the pool construction process or price yet.

From the start, these guys were very informative of the entire process. Every different stage there was explanations of before, during and what to expect next. Jorge was an amazing teacher for pool school! We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome!!

We had an excellent experience with Jim Harting and Blue Haven Pools. Jim came to our home and sat with us at our table while looking at our survey and our yard to create our dream backyard. Jim wasn’t pushy and incredibly friendly. When he gave us our quote, he added all the bells and whistles and gave us the price for a few things we were on the fence about so we knew what to remove to fit more in our budget. Construction was great. If we didn’t see movement for a few days the scheduler was quick to let us know what to expect next. We have had a few experiences with the warranty department also. They were very responsive when I had a question and needed info on repairing our screen. We love our beautiful pool!

In the process of shopping a pool. Jim Harting was the sales person that came to my home. He was very knowledgeable and patient in helping me get to the design I like. I have had 3 or 4 companies out to quote me and I must say I wasn't prepared for the level of information Jim provided me .. The other companies gave me their vision for what my pool should look like. Not Jim.. he worked with me and helped me come up with a pool I wanted... He was very personable, and very respectful of me and my home. I recommend anyone reading reviews of Blue Haven to give Jim Harting a call for your pool design.

Our technician, George was very helpful and patient in answering all of our questions. He showed us how to maintain our pool system and clean the filter. Very professional and courteous. George made sure we felt comfortable with all he showed us. He took the time to go over anything we questioned.

Great pool

Blue Haven was great to work with, however, they lost a star at the handoff to support and warranty after the pool was physically finished. The design and construction process was a great experience - our PM Joe kept us updated on the schedule and next steps, affordable and kept to budget, the staff and trades were professional, and we had a great experience. Pool fill is the handoff from PM to the warranty dept which is where they are currently falling short for us. It took almost a month for a tech to come out the second time - supposed to be ~1 week. They were understaffed, which can be understandable during the busy season, but wasn't communicated to us until after calling/emailing multiple times without a return call/email. Pool School is official handoff to you the owner. Ours was done by Jorge - super friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough- highly recommend video of everything when they do this. Went through all the paperwork - wish we would've done this a little slower to make sure all the part #s etc were identified for all the paperwork in case of any issues - but overall answered all of our questions and was great. We did have 2 relatively minor items for follow up after construction - noted both by the PM and Jorge. It's been over a month and still waiting on scheduling for repair, which is holding up landscaping at this point. Communication with Blue Haven is a struggle on this point. That's our only "complaint" but everyone is very friendly and helpful and the experience was overall great. Would recommend doing business with them.

Blue Haven is an excellent company to do business with. I’ll share my experience from start to finish. First, they were the only company that was serious about building me a pool. One company said my yard wouldn’t fit a pool and another wanted close to twice as much as my budget. Lots of, “you can’t do that” or “I’m not sure, I’ll have to check with the county.” Then James Love from Blue Haven entered the picture. “Hell yeah we can put a pool in here!” No guessing, no needing to check with the county, he knew everything off the top of his head. James had a drawing back to me in 24 hours and we agreed on a pool design within a week. Right in my budget too! Next was the frustrating part… construction, right?! WRONG!! Construction was a dream. Blue Haven uses the BuilderTrend app which made communication a breeze. Steven Chapman was my construction lead. He was outstanding with communication and sticking to a timeline. Everything promised was delivered on time and there were zero surprises. A few minor tweaks here and there as he made the design work from paper to excavator. I’m not exaggerating when I say, 5 weeks from start to finish. 5 WEEKS for a pool, paver deck, screen enclosure and crystal clear water!! Last, was pool start-up. Stephen Sewell and Jorge Gonzalez have been great! Stephen installed my handrail, got the equipment online and fine tuned, and has been keeping the pool balanced and clean since completion. Jorge went out of his way to get my pool school scheduled at my convenience which included making a next day visit because my travel schedule was so hectic. He took me through the entire pool from every bolt to chemical. I am fully confident in my ability to be a successful pool owner. Jorge was very thorough! Overall, the Blue Haven team has been absolutely phenomenal. Don’t overlook this company when planning your pool project.

We are still in the process of our build but I wanted to mention the rockstars that we have had the pleasure to work with during the initial few weeks. Ronnie was our pool designer and was phenomenal and super patient with us through multiple redesigns until we got to the perfect design. Julene was great at helping with our selections and when I emailed her about having second thoughts about a pool finish she was on top of it and helped me feel at ease. Sam with permitting has been great. We got our permits back super quick (SJC) and she kept us informed along the way. We’re now in the construction phase of our project but the little interaction we have already had with Jane (finance), Steve (construction manager), and Ashley (scheduling) has been amazing as well. So far so good and we have been kept informed every step of the way. Hopefully the remaining build is as seamless as the last few weeks have been. I will make sure to come back and update my review with any additional details and accolades.

I had some issues with my spa heater. Turned out that I was simply a novice pool owner. In the meantime I turned to Nicole in the warranty department. Nicole was beyond amazing. She me with my spa issues then she went above and beyond, she asked the right questions of the right people so I could get the things I needed. She was so responsive and so efficient. I think I was very blessed to have her help

Blue Haven pools were easy to work with and did everything as promised. Their pricing was very competitive. James Love, our sales representative, was excellent.
