Wendy and Mark at Blue Dive were exceptional. Managing through a cyclone they managed to get us booked onto QuickSilver Silversonic boat which was awesome. My wife and I both did 3 certified dives and loved every minute, couldn’t recommend Blue Dive more.

Owner seemed very disorganized I was very disappointed with the owner's behavior. He was overly aggressive, confrontational, and even abusive when I tried to ask about diving options. His unprofessional attitude made the entire experience frustrating and unpleasant. I would not recommend dealing with this kind of hostility. Why couldn't he answer my questions, and chose to insult me? I was looking forward to my holiday in Port Douglas, but now I am choosing to book elsewhere, mostly because of him. Whatever legal issues are happening in your personal life, please don't tell me about them and insult me. Highly unprofessional. You'd be wise to avoid!!!!!

Owner was very unprofessional and unhelpful The owner was very rude and unhelpful. This is my first review, but I've never been so rudely spoken to. I would advise others to be extremely cautious as I think the owner is not 'all there'. He seemed very hurried and incapable of answering my questions. Very unprofessional

I called Blue Dive to arrange a diving experience as I plan to visit Port Douglas later this year, and spoke with the owner Mark. I was quickly surprised and soon disgusted as he was slurring his words and admitted to having several drinks. He seemed incapable of providing answers to the most basic of questions and then told me I should just book direct with quicksilver myself as he is only a booking agent. It was the most unprofessional phone call I have ever had. If you are drunk while at work that is extremely poor behavior.

Caveating this review with the fact that we know we were pretty last minute booking our trip and that obviously no availability is a high possibility and understandable. Having said that, we found Blue Dive quite frustrating to deal with. I originally emailed in and was told to provide my phone number so someone could call me the next day. Due to the time difference I sent a reminder email as we were keen to get it booked. The owner did phone me, but confessed to having had a few drinks and came across as a bit scatty and erratic on the phone. He said he’d call me the next day at 5.30am UK time to see how he got on finding availability for us. I got up early to expect the call - but it didn’t come for another half hour which was frustrating. I understand that business owners are busy so let slide. Then it took another conversation of the same Ilk to confirm what we were looking for (private dive for two people). After another call and some further texts back and forth, a final call saw me being asked to ‘make a decision please’ - despite us being clear in our ask from the get go. He was quite rude, rushing and I didn’t feel like he cared if he had our business or not - which is fair enough, I’m sure they don’t need it. We decided to take the chance and go with another operator for a private dive on the same day, same boat and we are glad we did. It took less than 24 hours to organise and was the same price. Wouldn’t recommend but I am sure that once booked and if you book in enough time that Blue Dive do offer an amazing experience too.

Amazing two days on the Great Barrier Reef! Blue Dive Adventures is your one stop shop for most of your activity needs in Port Douglas. My family of 6 visited Port Douglas during the busy holiday period, and Mark pre-arranged two amazing days on the water for us. We communicated via email initially, and then when I had more questions, he took the time to call me via whats app to make sure everything was clear. Our first day, we had a diving trip to the Agincort Reef on the Silversonic boat. We opted for a private guided diving experience. India was our private dive master, and she took great care of us all day. We have a range of dive levels in our family, and she kept everyone happy and safe. The coral was beautiful, and we especially enjoyed seeing giant clams, a couple sharks and a big school of barracudas. Our second day, we had a private boat charter for fishing and snorkeling. We caught spanish mackerel, cod and stripeys. Snorkeling, we saw more giant clams, beautiful reef fish and a couple turtles. Our original charter boat cancelled last minute, and Mark and Simone worked tirelessly until they found us an alternative, which was an even nicer boat that they gave us for little extra charge.Blue Water Adventures also has a sister company that runs a wildlife tour, and although we didn’t take this tour, I’m sure it would be a quality and worthwhile experience. Mark, the owner of Blue Dive Adventures, and also Simone, are so familiar with all things Port Douglas, and they should be your first contact when planing a trip there. They planned for us the experience of a lifetime!

My wife and I had an fantastic A+++ two-day charter with Blue Dive out of Port Douglas.Day 1: Great Barrier Reef Scuba DivingFrom the moment we boarded the dive boat, everything was seamless and professional. The dive sites were breathtaking—crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral gardens, and an abundance of marine life. A fantastic lunch was provided and the crew took excellent care of us throughout. My wife is not yet certified so our dive instructor, Gus stayed close at all times keeping her safe and confident for an unforgettable scuba experience.Day 2: Daintree Rainforest Wildlife TourThe rainforest was an amazing contrast to the reef. Our guide, Mark, was phenomenal—knowledgeable, friendly and very skilled leading us through the day! Thanks to his keen eye, we spotted duck-billed platypuses, kangaroos, wallabies, spectacled fruit bats and even stopped to visit a koala at Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas. Mark captured everything with professional level photos which he provided no extra charge the following day.This tour was the perfect blend of adventure, nature, and relaxation. I can’t recommend Blue Dive Adventures enough.

The menu made me select Blue Dive - Cairns but I think it was Blue Dive - Port Douglas. They were so great, from the guy I talked to on the phone who was willing to call me on WhatsApp because I don't have Australian cell service to the instructor who literally held our hands through the scuba trip (Jason). It was so much fun, and the Quicksilver boat we were on was also great.. they gave us snacks and a hot lunch!

Great day out ! Scuba 🤿 instructor Lily was awesome, high energy, passionate and super chilled. Reef was in good condition saw cuttlefish, clown fish, white tip reef shark AND a dwarf minke whale which was incredible !!!!!

Great barrier reef adventure Port Douglas We had an amazing day with Jess and the crew. We did some amazing scuba diving and then some snorkel in the outer reefs. We really recommend it and we hope to go again soon!

Amazing Dive We dove with Jess from Blue Dive on two consecutive days and it was a fantastic experience. Jess was very attentive and ensured we were well looked after. The diving was simply incredible and the best part about getting a private guided dive was staying away from the crowds and seeing some incredible hidden treasures that Jess uncovered for us. Also loved all the photos and videos she took of us.
