What a wonderful place to bring our loved ones to! We bring our dad. He is 86 years old with Alzheimer's. I have witnessed many times on how the staff interact with all their clients. When we drop dad off we know he is safe and well treated. He has made friends with other clients that attend and he actually enjoys going there on a daily basis. It gives me a much needed mental break as well when I drop him off. The staff are wonderful and genuinely do care for their clients!
I want to say that this is one of the best group of ladies I have ever met that worked with seniors and people with dementia or special needs. The facility is kept so very clean, and the guests are treated with respect dignity and love.
It is a perfect place for your loved one to spend quality time and have peace of mind that they are being very well cared for.
The adult day care has been a life saver for me and obviously for the other guests that go there. The staff is very kind, patient, compassionate, knowledgeable, as well as being fun! They engage and let the guests be/and do as much as they can. The meals are great and they serve a big variety of food. The facility is super clean with shower available. They have many activities within (billiards, piano) and several musicians that come in routinely as well as other entertaiment fun. They also have respite and overnight care if needed. I just cannot put into words the care they provide... Oh and I can meet a bus in Black Hawk to transfer my loved one to the center, which saves me a lot of drive time. They are a six star rating! The Adult Day Center of the Black Hills has a great team of caregivers that places a #1 priority on our guests and their experience at ADC! We continue to work to improve the experience for your loved one while they're in our care. From the moment we pick up our guests at their home to the time we drop them back off and all the time in between, your loved one will experience incredible care, specialized attention, customized activities designed specifically for them, home-cooked meals and a team of dedicated professionals watching and caring for them the entire time. Stop in and talk with Pat or any of our ADC Team to find out for yourself how we can help.
I strongly don't recommend this place. And will no long be taking my father there. In the beginning it was great organized and welcoming. But over the past couple months it has dramaticly gone down hill. 90% of there nurses n CNAs have left and as crazy n unorganized its been lately I wouldn't be surprised if they get shut down for failing a inspection soon
A very good place for all adults that require guidence during the day, also a great place for Respite care.
Meals, showers, daily activities of many sorts plus a Nurse or CNA on staff at all times.
Once my father in law adjusted to the change, he really enjoys it there on the days he goes.
