What a sh@t show!! I purchased a Parsun 9.8, 2 stroke outboard motor, it's running well but on the second use whilst cleaning and inspecting it I see a large amount of salt deposits clearly seeping through the head gasket long story short 20 phone calls and a shot and aww camping on there Facebook adverts they finally (3 days later) get back to me with irritation in Simons voice he offers me a new gasket to fit myself!!!! 2 weeks later nothing!!!! And no response for 4 days I believe my 5 year warranty is a no go! This is a big financial mistake by me!!!!!! don't be there next victim!!!!!!
Bill Higham offer a quality expert service from the moment you go boating. I purchased a RIB elsewhere and they carried out the first service for me. I very quickly decided that they would carry out all annual services. They set out a pragmatic service plan that was not expensive. I have, through not not utilising the boat in the past 18 months to what I would like, decided to sell the boat. It was to Bill Higham I turned. They have successfully sold my boat, and I am sure I will return to their excellent service again in the future.

Our long time loved Zodiac hit end-of-life while on holiday. Jamie and Simon immediately helped sort us out with one of their Sea Pro inflatables so our holiday wasnāt spoilt. Their location is a little hidden but well worth the effort to find, just off the A55. Thanks guys; you couldnāt have been more helpful.
Ps the Zodiac seat bag is all we saved for nostalgia but it fitted the Sea Pro!!!

Dissapointing after sales service
Bought a new Parsun 9.8 remte control engine from BHM in November 2023, went to Wales to collect. Finally got around to fitting to the boat at the beginning of 2024. Inital problem was that the control cables did not fit correctly, after several calls to BHM I manufactured an extension part, BHF were not able to provide an explanation or solution to this issue. After getting the engine running it was immediately apparent that the low oil pressure warning sounder and lamp were not operating. After many calls to BHM they eventually supplied a replacement wiring loom and CDI unit, which corrected the problem. The wiring connector had been incorrectly and poorly fitted, presumably by BHM. I returned the CDI and wiring harness at my expense. When the problems were finally resolved, taking over five visits to the boat (40 miles from home) it was agreed that BHM would supply a FOC a few service spares. There has been no response for over six weeks. Overall Bill Higham Marine have not provided anything like the service expected. I am a mechanical engineer so was able to reolve the issues, although it took a frustrating amount of time, What any average boater would do is anybodys guess.
Great place for all boating things. Very helpful team who go out of their way to help, sort problems out, and get you back on the water. I have been boating for 50 years, professionally, and now as a hobby, and in all honesty Simon and the team are the best aroundā¦ā¦.I Thomas

I first encountered Higham Marine about 9 years ago when having got tired of Honwave transoms rotting out , Zodiac valves being expensive to replace way too frequently when I got sand in there accidentally , and Avons being hellishly overpriced for a leisure boater on a work like budget .
Simon Higham had developed the SeaPro HD range to a better spec , using a unique fabric thatās durable but tough and my first Seapro was the 340HD.
I live in Cornwall and itās a little rugged round the coastline and weāre dogged by Pacific Oysters too which have sharp edges to their shells .
Iāve had punctures in every inflatable ā¦ except my 340 HD .
Itās now 9 years old so Iāve just had delivery of a new SeaPro 310HD .
Meantime the pontoon in the harbour ate the bow off my grp Dory as the glass fibre is no match for swells against a pontoon and it can be carnage in summer when boaters fight for space to moor up across each others boats .
That , right there is the prime situation for needing a better quality boat .
Any can be used , but can they survive life in the meantime and for me , 19 years as sailmaker here , yacht racer and student marine scientist, the boat has to be versatile .
Iāve towed it to the Solent behind a yacht , Iāve carried divers and their kit for surveys and the sectional aluminium floor hasnāt even dented . Iāve beached it and itās light enough to roll over and scrub the bottom mid season and this really is a little inflatable that can do big things and not need a trailer or boat lift either .
Please folks , donāt mistakenly compare the price to lesser boats , even the assembly works precisely by design !
The upgrade to an all aluminium sectional strengthened transom around 2021 proves Higham Marine listen to us the customer and improved the design so negligence no longer leads to rotting transoms when left full of water for extended periods.
Come on people donāt always get it right do we ? I sure donāt , but this range of inflatable boats are the Tonka Toys of the industry.
The boat is half the equation.
The company. ? Iām in Fowey ( deepest darkest Cornwall ) and Iām happy to give my business to a bunch of great people in Wales !
The reason being they know their products .
They care that we get maximum fun for our quid .
They go above and beyond to make sure weāre happy to have bought from them , and Iāve dealt with a LOT of boat dealers , owners , fellow yacht racers and owners in my time but wonāt shop elsewhere!
This week they chatted delivery options with me , confirmed yesterday that my new boat would be delivered today .
I woke to messages with tracking details , a courtesy message and Jamie rang me to make sure the pallet line courier had arrived and found me .
Come on folks , Iām a 55 year old Luddite afraid of technology and even in this social climate Bill Higham Marines customer support installs confidence in buying online .
Thank you all from Simon and Jamie to Aled and the rest of the team . Hereās to getting back on the water and Iāll be seeing you guys again before long ā¦.

Just purchased my Parsun Long shaft 4stroke,
Jamie Williams was very helpful over the phone
and obviously very knowledgeable in this field.
I had a very slight hiccup on running engine within an hour (My total mistake) I rang Jamie and within 2 minutes my issue was solved,
So engine seems very good value for money with 3 years warranty, hopefully runs well over time
