They struck the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was seamless, and commitment to guest satisfaction reflected the highest standards of hospitality.
The cuisine itself was outstanding—beautifully presented, authentically flavored, and executed with remarkable precision showcasing both creativity and respect for traditional Indian culinary techniques. The ambiance was elegant and welcoming.
What truly distinguished the evening, however, was staff’s splendid service. Exceptional food can make a restaurant memorable, but exceptional hospitality makes guests eager to return. Benares exemplifies the caliber of service that sets it apart.

We had paneer tikka masala and lachha paratha. The paneer tikka masala was flavourful, thick and in good quantity. The paratha was flaky. The service was amazing.

I truely loved this place. Indian food with new dishes I’ve haven’t tasted before. Their eggplant chaat is a must try. The aam paana and mango lassi were a taste of nostalgia for me. The buttery butter chicken, daal makhani, malai kofta curry was delicious. Me being a chicken fan, their chicken sheesh kababs were authentic flavorful. I thought I never say this but their veg biryani was just like non veg biryani minus the meat. The chefs signature orange kulfi was Devine. Would definitely recommend this place

Puts extra drinks that no one had on our bill.
No AC either.
When I asked them for a fan, they said the fan is only for the group in the front.
Then I was sweating a lot, so asked for a napkin, the staff also heard me ask and never came with any napkins. So I had to walk over to the front of the restaurant where the group that had a fan was … to pull some paper towel from the roll myself.
And given the review reply, you can see how unapologetic they are. Please review your bill carefully at this business if you decide to visit.

Hi thanks for coming, today is the first heat wave and our AC blew out. Tech has been working on it all day and just resolve it. No one would ever intentionally add drinks to an order. We are family owned for 12 years, putting love and feeding our lovely city. I had a fantastic dining experience at Benares Tribeca Indian Restaurant. The food was exceptional, with authentic Indian flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The chicken tikka masala was rich and flavorful, the naan was fresh and perfectly baked, and the cocktails were excellent. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, and the staff provided attentive and friendly service. A wonderful spot for Indian cuisine in Tribeca.
