Our group of almost 12 people went to have dinner at Benaras after an engagement party, and Monty sir and team have been exceptional to us. They helped us get seated with our reservation, were very friendly with all of us cracking jokes and all, and provided amazing service and hospitality via delicious food. We had a pleasant evening and would definitely return again!
Had an amazing experience at Banaras! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic Indian flavors. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared with the perfect balance of spices.
The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better.
Highly recommend trying their signature dishes – you can really taste the quality and freshness in every bite.

Food was top notch, but what really made our experience was the service and love you could feel in the food. Must try the laal maas, the lamb was incredibly soft. Also, specifically great service from the old man in the mask.

Really nice place- I recommend the papri chaat, samosas, and laal maas. most of all you HAVE to get the gulab jamun. great drinks and great service from the old man with the mask. the punjabi goat curry was a little tough but otherwise amazing experience

During my lunch visit, the restaurant was quite busy. I selected the vegetarian prix fixe option, which included paneer tikka for the appetizer and bindi masala for the entrée. Although there was a slight delay due to an order mix-up, the overall flavor of the dishes was satisfactory.

I had a great experience at Benares Tribeca Indian Restaurant. The dishes were rich, aromatic, and full of authentic Indian flavors. Run it’s a biggest scam if you wanna save your money , I came with my two friends after my school to give them my birthday treat . And we all ate food was ok and paid my bills gave them tips too and we went back to home but when I came home and looked over bills they charged me for 5 people when we are only three for us and server didn’t even said they put auto gratuity In ours when only 3 people were dining . So this is how you guys been scamming the money from customers it’s really disappointed . and never gonna come back. The restaurant should be penalized for this behavior .

Hi Joan, thanks for the review. As the owner this review upsets me greatly as we would never intentionally do this, we have no affiliation with tips. I will speak with the staff immediately and get this rectified. I will refund that immediately and speak with the team on site I saw the copy of the bill and will ensure the staff on the bill will be given the formal action.
This review is solely based on takeout/delivery. The food was really poor in quality for the price. Most of the kebabs had tons of food color in them; which is unhealthy and really unnecessary. Ordered via Uber Eats. Had to throw away most of the food since it was not edible. For a few guests who dared to eat the heavily colored food, they complained about bloating and discomfort with digestion an hour or so after eating.
