The lady that greeted me was super helpful and nice. So I ordered a chicken w/salsa verde and a lemon bar. I wanted to eat my Tamale in my car but the lady said it was "COLD". She said they have a third party deliver them. Why would they sell "COLD" tamales. Specially for $6.99 each. OMG I couldn't believe the price. $6.99 a piece or $70.00 a dozen lol. I said to my self they are probably a good size but when I got home this tamale was so small. I think a Snicker is probably bigger. I'm so disappointed never ever going back. My lemon bar was stuck to side of the to go container. So I didn't get to taste it with the powder sugar.

Hello Stephanie , To be clear it did not appear to be busy at all when I walked in ,there were only two other patrons there,this employee not being trained to perform the writing on a cake is in deed understandable, however her response what was alarming "I don't know " how about "let me check if I have someone available to assist with that", her expectation was to make me pay for it without checking if that was going to be possible, and she visibly got upset that I asked of she could . I can see my review upset you but based off of other reviews ,this amongst others is not an isolated situation, within the past month you've had multiple negative reviews ,maybe it's time to re evaluate how business is being operated and make proper adjustments.

At the time you came in, the bakery was busy.

Not everyone is skilled to do writing, so she did need to make sure there was someone that could do it for you. Her saying "I don't know" is justified as she did need to make sure there was someone.

They were able to get that done for you. Hopefully you cake was delicious. Next time, give us a call to preorder one of our house cakes, this way there will be no mystery to if someone can do writing.

The coffee was awesome, but those bagels with cream cheese? Not so much. They were super chewy, like I was gnawing on beef jerky. And the employee seemed kinda annoyed when we walked in, so we didn't feel super welcome.

It's absolutely not okay that your bagel was less than perfect. But, occasionally, these things may slip through the net. If you're unsatisfied with anything at Batter Up, bring it to our staff's attention right away. We will either re-make it for you, or we'll replace it with something else, so you get that amazing Batter Up experience, we're used to delivering. We'd hope you'd revisit the bakery soon, and if anything is not satisfactory for you, let us know. We'll make sure it's fixed or replaced, immediately.

Do not recommend to anyone. Scheduled a wedding dessert tasting here and had some hope as options are already limited in Temecula. The bakery looked promising with all of the fake cakes decorated around. However, all of the dessert truly missed the mark. The plate of desserts we received was clearly placed in the refrigerator overnight - which ruins some of the desserts we had. For example, the cannoli shells were so soft, when they are supposed to be crunchy. I understand these desserts are made beforehand and need to be refrigerated so obviously I was worried about my own wedding desserts because it would the same case and I cannot serve soft cannolis at my wedding. The cakes, creme puffs, and additional desserts all missed as well. Honestly we were there two minutes took a bite of each, paid $40 for the testing, and left. I would look elsewhere for wedding dessert options.

Love Batter Up cakes! Our current fav is the vanilla cake with fruit and sugar crusted almonds on the outside. They did my daughter’s 16th birthday cake! Red velvet princess cake.

Really only came here for a quick pastry with matcha and coffee. Delicious danish, though even after heated up it was ice cold in the center (so maybe ask for double toasty). The coffee was ok, I don't think I'll come back for the matcha, and for some reason the milk gave me the worst bloating all day. Darn me not wanting to pay the extra $3.50 for milk alternative.

I just wish the kids working there would check their Tamala’s before giving them to the customer. Today was the second time someone gave me two of the wrong ones and for someone who doesn’t eat meat, to bite into a Tamala and find it is “red chicken”, is quite a disappointment, again. I’m only bothered because one time is a mistake but twice is showing the workers aren’t actually doing their due diligence when it comes to making sure they are handing the correct product to the customer.

Fantastic place, we went for a tasting and then ordered our wedding cake from them. They perfectly replicated an inspo pic, delivery was only like $25, they arrived on time and the cake was packaged well.

I don’t care to pay for good moist cake and delicious desserts we bought a cake that was already on their fridge for my sister it was a last minute thing and some other desserts and everyone on Facebook recommended this place, what huge disappointment cake was dry and stale the dessert were hard. I don’t know how can someone sell this and still be recommended on Facebook, I don’t recommend this place.

We always try our utmost best to make sure everything we put out is as fresh, tasty, amazing and delicious as possible. Some of our cakes are refrigerated after they're frosted, to preserve the life of the cream frosting, and keep them as fresh as possible. They're always baked within 48 hours of being sold, and should definitely not be dry. We apologize your experience was less than perfect, and really do hope you'd give us another chance in the future.

I often feel like my business isn't appreciated when I visit. The counter staff tend to just go through the motions, and there's rarely a greeting or a thank you. A little acknowledgment would go a long way in making customers feel welcome. I do like the desserts.

Batter Up Bakery was such a highlight of our wedding! Our guests absolutely loved the desserts—we chose chocolate chip cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, mini cupcakes, and assorted macarons, and everything was a huge hit. Our heart-shaped wedding cake was absolute perfection, both beautiful and delicious. Delivery was seamless and stress-free, which gave us so much peace of mind on the big day. We can’t recommend Batter Up Bakery enough!

I had a custom cake made for my daughter and it was not only beautiful but the taste was amazing. I’ve never had a cake that actually looked good and tasted so good.. everyone was talking about how delicious it was.. not a crumb left over!!!
