The base of this cake is a sponge cake, which has a moist texture but isn’t as soft as a chiffon cake. The caramel is traditionally sweet, which might not suit everyone’s taste. We truly care about all customer feedback, and your satisfaction is our top priority. To make it right, we would love the opportunity to bake a new cake for you. We can use a chiffon base for a softer texture and adjust the caramel to be less sweet. If you could please provide us with the order number, we would be happy to send this new version to the recipient to try.
