Let's face it -- moving sucks. For the first time in over a decade, I was moving to a more residential area, which meant trying to figure out: how the heck do I get the movers in there?!
Luckily I found National Barricade, which, in addition to offering the full suite of services (from permitting to putting up the no parking signs to removing them) happens to be THE friendliest company I've maybe ever dealt with in Seattle. I called with appx 2847 questions and the folks on the phone were friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Seriously, who knew working at a barricade company meant you are just the nicest people in this city?!
I ended up opting to get the permits myself and picking up the barricades there ($55). The staff placed them in my car for me, which is when I realized how heavy those things are! A few days after my move, I called to see if they would pick them up for a small charge (exhaustion from the move + heavy signs + traffic = what can I do to make this easier?) I think it was $18 (a bargain!) to have them come pick up the signs in lieu of me loading them back into my car and returning them myself.
I hope to never move again (see above -- I hate it!) but if you need those No Parking signs in this city, National Barricade is the answer. (Seriously, thank you!)
