I went to Barrett's first to get an estimate for a leaking power steering fluid hose. First they wanted to charge me 120 dollars just to see where the leak was at. I already knew exactly where the leak was. Then to fix it would be another 540 dollars. The part was only 118 dollars. I guess if you are a female they think you are stupid and don't know anything about cars. If you want to be overcharged take your car here.

I took my 2010 Ford E350 XLT passenger van to Barrett Automotive in Cornelia for three unrelated repairs. The fan belt tensioner pulley squealed from time to time. The engine had hesitation when it was first started and van drove. The AC blew hot air. They replaced the belt and belt tensioner. The diagnostic work on the engine showed fault code for # 2 cylinder misfire. The cause was # 2 coil faulty. They offered to replace all 8 coil packs and all 8 spark plugs. I had them replace all 8 spark plugs and # 2 coil pack. They were just suggesting preventative maintenance on the other 7 coil packs. The diagnostic work on the AC showed with purple dye a leak in the output line on the evaporator coil. They replaced the output line on the evaporator. After I got my van back it runs great. The AC works great. And I don’t have to worry about the belt tensioner pulley locking up and stranding me somewhere. I highly recommend Barrett Automotive.

Our recent service at Barrett Automotive was superb! The work needed was clearly and politely communicated and then done in a very timely manner. It was so refreshing to not have to call or text on our own. They were on it!!! The van is running great and we are so happy! We'll be back and be telling others!
