Best resturant in London
This is my 2nd time visiting Azou in 4 years, I have never experienced someone recognising a face after 4 years … it must be the Glasgow accent. In terms of the food, amazing and value for money and portion size is unreal, Especially at London prices. To add to that I have never had an experience of the resturant owner, Chatting away making us feel so welcome and ensuring we are enjoying our time here. Especially the staff looking after us too. Couldn’t recommend more
Different class
We have came to this restaurant over the years with friends and also our most important customers , each time has been a special experience for us and also our customers, Chris has been the best host as well as the best chef, the food is to die for and please make sure you arrive with an empty stomach, you will be fed a lot! Best place ever and a true Moroccan experience. Incredible
Amazing food and super friendly service I will be back and definitely recommend!
My fiancé and I have been coming to Azou for the past 7 years, and it remains one of London’s hidden gems. Tucked away from the chaos of the city, it offers a calm and welcoming atmosphere that keeps us coming back time and time again. The food is absolutely fantastic - authentic North African cuisine with beautiful influences from Morocco and Tunisia. Every dish is full of flavour and clearly made with passion and expertise. Chef Chris is one of the most genuine, funny and experienced people you could meet, which makes the whole experience even more special.
We highly recommend Azou to anyone looking for delicious, authentic food and a warm, memorable dining experience.
Very disappointing experience.
We were subjected to clearly inappropriate and racist behavior from other customers, and staff were aware but remained largely complacent. No real action was taken, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Other customers were more mindful than the actual staff who clearly didn’t do anything.
The lack of care, urgency, and professionalism completely ruined the evening. Customer safety and respect should be a priority, but it did not feel that way here.
Would not return and would advise to avoid at all cost.

you have been coming to the restaurant with your girlfriend several times and you never put a review for the restaurant. You had a customer asking you if you were Muslim you didn’t appreciate it and it’s within your right to be offended. You asked the manager to do something about it and he did speak to the person concerned and within around 15minutes he left. you are blaming Azou restaurant remember that they didn’t do anything wrong to hurt you and that’s why you have been coming time and time again. You are trying to hurt the wrong person. we have been open for 28 years and we always do our best for our customers. salam alikoum
worst experience
Absolutely appalling experience. Our group was subjected to blatant racist abuse from another customer who was clearly drunk. We reported this immediately to the host, expecting the restaurant to take basic responsibility for the safety and dignity of its guests. They did nothing except chatting friendlily with him.The individual was allowed to remain, continue drinking, and continue making us feel threatened and unwelcome. No staff member intervened, no real apology was offered. The message was clear: racist behaviour is tolerated here.
A restaurant that ignores racial abuse happening in plain sight does not deserve anyone’s business.
