I don't like writing reviews like this (especially a bad one) for a company.
There is nothing wrong with the products they provided or the sales experience. The problem, at least in my case, was the installer.
The installer completed a tile shower install. It looks great, but functions not so great.
#1 Shower curb is slanted away from the pan, not towards it. We had been using a curtain, for over a year, so it was not really an issue (noticeable). Well after installing a shower door recently, as water collects on the curb it eventually drains onto our bathroom floor, not the pan. It's a frameless barn style door, so the sweep at the bottom can only do so much because it needs to be able to glide and there will always be a least some space at the bottom.
#2 Shower pan has a slight dip, so water collects there. This is something I noticed after the install, pointed it out, never was fixed. I got so tired of dealing with this guy, I just wanted him gone. It sucks but is manageable, for now with a squeegee. Guess we will find out in a few years.
#3 The installer completed a horrible grout job on the shower pan. That was fixed, by tearing out the penny tiles and installing another color because the original was not longer available.
#4 The installer's son dumped all the grout/thinset water right by the hose in my front yard, made no attempt to find a less conspicuous place, which there are plenty. Overall they were just sloppy, didn't cover anything.
If you go with this company, be careful with the installer. It appears that my job was not a priority, rather it was the "big" job he was working on at the same time.
I originally went in there to get flooring for the entire house. Then realized I should get the bathrooms done first. It's too bad the installer botched this job, because I would have bought flooring from them as well.

Hello, "MK". We do not have any records of tile being sold recently to a customer with your initials, so I'm not sure that you have the correct company involved. In any case, Carpet Closeouts only sells materials, and any installation services contracted by you are with an independent installation company. Therefore your review should really be directed to that contractor's company and not Carpet Closeouts. I also sincerely hope that you have attempted to rectify your issues directly with that contractor - most of them are professional and will try their best to satisfy their customers.
Went there on Sunday just to check out if they sold carpet remnants, I needed one for an old patio. The gentleman there was very nice and helped me out. I would highly recommend this place as they are honest and very knowledgeable as to what is needed.

Excellent service! Great prices! We've worked with Cy before. He's a great guy! Really cares about his customers. Easy to work with, understood what I was looking for and helped me find it at price that was more than fair. This is a well run, efficient, customer service conscious business. This is the first time that I have done a review without using the product. I just spoke to Dan however, and I asked him about the difference in buying an area rug from like Costco that has them pre-made or having them made by them meaning Carpet Closeouts. He was so honest and told me that it would save me a lot of money to just go buy one that was already made. Way to be honest Dan!
This is my 2nd or 3rd time there. DANIEL has taken care of me-- Let's just say WAY more than over and above!! He has been to my residence, he's always doing the job of 2 or 3 people when I see him back there operating a forklift. They are very lucky to have him IMHO.
You will recognize the place, when you see the truck with huge lettering that says. CARPET CLOSE-OUTS"-- looks like the truck has been around for 30-40 years, and I tell you there's a reason they've been in business that long.
This is a no frills place where you can talk to the owner HOWARD as well.
You can get a great deal there I also had a good experience with Rob up front.
Make sure you have a good repore with the sales person I would say that's the most important thing there.

Found on Google based on reviews. Called for a quote, they asked us to stop in for the first step.
Ron helped us pick out a carpet we liked that matched what we were trying to replace. We were lucky they had a nice first quality roll with enough to meet our needs.
It was about 330pm, he managed to come out that day and confirm our measurements and quoted us. Half the price of similar quality nylon carpet from any other retailer.
They provide you a list of installers they work with and they estimate the cost on average. We ended up going with Jose Capir , he was less than the average cost Ron quoted us. He came out to confirm size and set a date. Jose was pleasant and informative, did an excellent job on install and cleanup, haul away included.
I highly recommend carpet close outs for material and Jose for the install.
We needed an area rug for our family room and had looked at a number of carpet and furniture stores. What a find Carpet Closeouts was! They have a huge selection and can make any carpet into an area rug. You can’t beat their prices and the quality of their work is excellent. We had the pleasure of dealing with Cy who is extremely knowledgeable and guided us into choosing the correct size for our room. We couldn’t be more pleased and you can bet will be returning for any future flooring needs!

We needed carpet for the slideout aprons in our RV. Carpet closeouts has top quality carpet in stock, which may have an imperfection. We found a great match with the help of Cy and the price was right. The imperfection was down the middle of the roll width, and we only needed 42 inches off each side. Perfect! Cy was even able to help us find transportation for the carpet when we were unable to find a truck to rent.

Mike has helped by fiance with replacing flooring in his rentals for 20 plus years. This warehouse/showroom/retail store is full of so many choices of flooring. Mike is always consistent and very helpful. No matter what we need he has a solution. Just last month Mike helped me pick out a very high end carpet remnant that fit perfectly. He brought the carpet and very good pad to my house, removed the old carpet, installed everything in about 45 minutes total in and out. I couldn't tell he had been in my house because he didn't leave a mess. No wonder 99.9% of the reviews are very positive, I would't expect any less!
