At the end of 2023, I was looking to move more centrally to rent for a period after selling my flat. I only viewed one flat, which is the one Mark showed me, as I immediately lovely it and he was super helpful and the process from then on was seamless. Any queries I had at the beginning of my move were answered fully and speedily and any issues arising during the tenancy that required the attention of the landlord (through the managing agency AW Childs) have been dealt with appropriately. Moving from owning a property to renting one is a change, and the overall professionalism of AW Childs has made this a good experience for me.

Moving to London was definitely very daunting, especially with the chaos that comes with the rental market; however, Mark made the whole process very smooth. He was incredibly kind, efficient and professional during the whole process and is the reason I found the flat I am in today!

I moved to London from Melbourne, Australia and inspected a rental property managed by Mark. Mark was very accommodating in arranging my inspection, and was also generous enough to arrange a time for me to have a second inspection before I was comfortable to make a rental offer. Since signing the lease, Mark has been very responsive and helped to have requests dealt with efficiently. Thanks to Mark for making my international move quite seamless.

We had excellent service from Alex Childs. He was always courteous and kept us informed as necessary. Messages were conveyed and responses received promptly as required. Estate agents are not universally well regarded but Alex showed clear integrity where it was needed and I would have no hesitation in asking him to act for us again.

We have been with AW Childs since 2019. Alex and Mark are great to work with and have a very collaborative style that you don't get from many of the bigger firms. They have found us tenants very quickly and managed the process with those tenants in a very slcik manner.

I met with Mark for a flat viewing and he was extremely kind and accommodating with any questions and concerns I had about the apartment, the building and the location. He was very efficient in communicating via email and phone when I required assistance and further information. On the day, a bit after the flat viewing I realised I had forgotten to check something and Mark was kindly quick to let me back into the flat after a few minutes to let me check again. Alex and the team at AW Childs were absolutely outstanding! I initially bought my flat from Alex several years ago, and after having a not-so-great experience trying to sell it with a larger estate agents, I decided to give Alex a call. He was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process - constantly kept me up-to-date, chased solicitors and was always contactable (even out of hours). Alex is incredibly helpful and gave sound, realistic advice throughout. He went above and beyond all the time - a very rare experience nowadays. Alex is also charming, highly personable and just a pleasure to deal with. If you are planning to sell your flat, I highly recommend using AW Childs - they are just fantastic!

Very unprofessional approach. Maybe suitable for people living in London but if you are not then don't bother. They will miss your online viewing appointment even if it means sending a video over whatsapp.

They are absolutely amazing!!! I was trying to find a place to rent and spotted one from Rightmove and contacted them. They replied to me quickly. From then on, no matter viewing arrangements or any questions, they almost always replied the same day. Mark is super attentive and helpful, while Alex kindly gave me a detailed tour of the room even though I was late a little for our appointment. I really appreciate their kindness and help.
