Edited to add: taking away just one star because recently (August 2025) it has been difficult to reach anyone by phone. I have had to call multiple times in a row because the voicemail you are sent to is for someone who no longer works there and it is full. I appreciate the help I get once I get through, but it’s definitely become a more frustrating patient experience compared to when I started receiving care.
Original review: I really appreciate the help Dr. Haque, Liv the practice manager, and the rest of the kind staff have provided me. I’ve been a psychiatric patient of various practices for about 20 years, and upon relocating to Atlanta, I struggled at first to find good care. I feel so fortunate to have found this practice. It’s one of the best I’ve ever encountered in any city I’ve lived in. The care is compassionate, considered, and experienced. I doubt there is much better you can find here in Atlanta or elsewhere.

Update: The doc doesn’t use the online messaging system which is fine. Just wish I had known before writing and getting nothing back when I had a side effect. They also should have explained that they need a card on file or they will cancel your appointment. My card was stolen the night prior and this resulted in missed care as I waited for the doctor who never came. Aside from these misunderstandings, I feel well cared for. They took me back when I struggled to find care and got me in fast which was very much appreciated.
I had a really nice experience signing up for my first appointment. Kim from the office is so kind and empathetic. I wish all offices had a Kim. I got in fairly quickly with Scarlet who was very professional and knowledgeable. She spent lots of time with me and collected all the info she could to come up with a treatment plan for me. I felt heard and cared for. As I have tried to get appointments at many other offices, I really struggled and was feeling like I may never find anyone. I am very grateful to Scarlet for her care and Kim for being so compassionate as I made my appointment. Thanks so much for being there for me.

My PA Nelson has me straightened out with my concerns and is a delight to deal with. This office was highly recommended to me from a good friend and she was entirely correct about the quality of care you will receive. A+ plus plus!

I've been a patient at Atlanta Integrative Psychiatry since I moved to the area about a year ago and working with them has been so easy and stress-free. I see Chantal LaJeunesse for medication management and she is always so kind and receptive to my concerns. Their front office staff is also so on top of everything from scheduling to billing to refills. I've worked with a few different psychiatrists in the past that have been stressful administrative nightmares, and I can confidently say that Atlanta Integrative Psychiatry is not like that. I highly recommend AIP for anyone in the Atlanta area looking for medication management.
