Professional, fast and courteous service. Nolan and Leo were absolutely awesome, super helpful, and did an excellent job with moving very large yet fragile items without a single scratch. They took a ton of stress out of the moving process and I can’t thank them enough! 11/10!

Thank you, Rex! We aim to please.
Atlanta Flat Rate Movers has moved me locally, and out of state when I switched my line of work. Then back instate when I came back to persue a degree in the medical field. I was originally on schedule with a larger vanline but at the last min the Vanline "post poned" aka canceled on me. We had used Atlanta Flat Rate movers for local jobs but did not realize they did long distance too.
I called them to get a referal to a company who did long distance moves and was pleasantly surprised to find out they serviced long distace moves as well.
My next fear was that they possibily couldnt meet my deadline. They actually was able to get me scheduled in a short amount of time, came in packed us up and loaded a day after that. After 1 year, I decided to come back to the Atlanta area and called them to move us back.
We have recomended several of our friends to the company and will only use them to mve our items.
We also took a tour of their facility and got some merchandise.
Thank you!

Thank you, Chad!
Horrible customer service and I can go into detail as to why. The movers came out late I booked for 2-4pm they did not arrive until 6pm. The movers came arrived and complained and sucked his teeth about not having time although they were booked for a specific time slot. I was told that the service came with furniture protection however it did not. The movers drugged my WHITE VELVET FURNITURE with no protection and my mattress as well I will upload pictures of the stains they left on my perfectly brand new furniture. The movers did not want to move all of my boxes even after letting them know I am pregnant and unable to lift heavy items. The guy was more concerned about being paid upfront first then hearing my concerns about what needed to be done and the help I needed. Do not book with these people this is just a hustle and a fast way to get money for them. Save your time and money! Also to answer the reply $350 was the rate I am not experiencing NOOOO financial hardship what so ever lol I’m not a single mother or anything in the category you stated. I actually own 3 high thriving businesses and I most likely make more than what this company makes in two years! Clock it. Take responsibility for your actions and laziness. Please and thank you. Also I did not have time at the end to review my items, yall hurried and left to your next moves that you spoke about the entire time of being there. Like I said people don’t book with them they are just realtors that’s not closing deals trying to hustle on the side😂

Thank you for your review. We love the opportunity to examine our process to see how we might better it.
After reviewing your account, our records indicate that AFRM had extended an at-cost rate which has to be approved by a manager. This means the profit made from your move was just enough to cover operation expenses. Although we cannot do this as often as we like, we do from time to time approve this for single mothers, families experiencing financial hardship, as well as other circumstances our clients may be going through; your situation fell into one of those categories (your total cost was $350).
We do ask our clients to be prepared to move before our movers arrive so the process goes as smoothly possible; unfortunately your items were not fully packed upon the movers arrival. This was supported by pictures provided by your moving crew. Several boxes were left unpacked and other boxes had items hanging out of them.
Concerning your alleged damaged items, as per our process we have all clients inspect their items prior to the movers departing. If there is damage the client notes that damage on the invoice. If there is no damage, the clients note "no damages". Your invoice was marked as “no damages”.
We were extremely happy to have moved your items at a reduced rate, but we are disappointed it seems to have not been well received.

Serving you is our pleasure, Mr. Barker!
The moving experience was okay, but nothing exceptional. Nothing major went wrong, but it felt like one mover carried most of the workload while the other two stood around, which made the process take longer than it should have.
I was also asked to sign the completion form stating everything was delivered and undamaged before the job was actually finished—something I’ve never experienced with other professional movers. On top of that, the person who had me sign was very pushy about getting a tip, which came across as unprofessional, especially since I had already planned to tip generously (and did).
That said, all of our belongings arrived safely at the new place, which is ultimately what mattered most. I also appreciated how easy it was to get a quote, as some companies make it a huge hassle.

Mr. Coyle,
Although we appreciate your candid review, we have no record of you. Was your move booked in someone else's name? Maybe you used a different company?

I deleted my first review and am replacing it 7 weeks later because I am annoyed at the "insurance department" and want to caution others: AFRM had some wonderful qualities and some drawbacks.
The disappointing part is the insurance situation. When the belongings arrived to my new location, there were about a million forms to sign. Most on carbon paper with writing that was not discernible, counting items and such. Before they unloaded the stuff, I was asked if I wanted insurance, and for what rooms, for $150 per room. I was overwhelmed and thought, well what if there is something really wrong with a TV or dresser or the couch doesn't recline anymore? So, I decided I better get two rooms insured and quickly signed one of the million pieces of paper. Bad decision (a move will do that to you!). The guys were very careful and there were only two items damaged: Noland unwrapped both of them in front of me and he said, “that was not like that when we packed it up” and took a picture of it. I took a picture of it too. One cabinet and one side table, pictures attached. I thought, well that is pretty good and since I paid $300, we should at least be able to replace one of them.
Therein started this very long 7-week legal-ease blah-blah back and forth emailing with Jon Fletcher in the “insurance department” of AFRM. They wanted ORIGINAL receipts for the items. Who keeps those?! And there are apparently very limited things the insurance actually covers. It really would have been easy to make me happy by giving me my $300 back. Instead, here is the response.
After our investigation and based on the guidelines set forth by State and Federal HHG rules and regulations for processing claims, your claim has been denied for the following reason(s)....After interviewing the client, as well as the movers, we found the alleged damages could not be considered negligence/mis-handling; meaning the movers DID NOT drop, or bump the item(s). Please review the customer service pamphlet you signed for. Note the section that informs about items being able to stand "the rigors of transport". This simply means movers are not expected to make an unstable item stable…..
I would caution anyone who uses them DO NOT USE THE INSURANCE - very annoying process. Again, I am easy to please and would have been happy to have my $300 back. Dumb decision on my part- moves will do that to you!
The MVP of my move was my lead Noland and his assistant Quay. Their kind helpful attitudes were unflappable even in the hot Florida heat in June. They were SO patient to put the items in the room they belonged with, catching on to my funny nicknames for different spots to put things. They also were very attentive and careful with unpacking, putting things and shifting things for me as needed. I am a single mom and could not have lifted these things and could have NEVER done this move without them. In the onset, Brandon Burrage was a kind and amenable introduction to the company. He was very easy to reach and responsive to all my needs. I appreciated the ability to have them load up my belongings, get them out of the house for preparation for showing, store, and then have the same guys that moved it out, drive it to Florida and unload it. Noland was there for it all! In the end, the insurance was a $300 mistake and Noland and Quay shined so bright it doesn’t leave a bad taste in my mouth. Still recommend, just don't mess with the insurance. You probably know that already - just don't forget when you are in moving daze and confused.
