Athens Transfer-great company.
I used Athens transfer for transportation to and from the airport and a private tour while in Athens. All three experiences were excellent and reasonably priced. The drivers were very friendly and knowledgeable about Athens. I would highly recommend this company.
Company cancelled due to a lack of drivers.
We had an early transfer from our hotel to the airport. The night before the transfer (approx. 7 PM) - we received a message stating that no driver could be sourced and the trip was cancelled. This put us in a bind because the pre-arranged transfer that we had set up would no longer be happening and we had to make other arrangements last minute. This was also sent via email, so it was a good thing we were paying attention. I understanding that staffing issues happen, but for a car service, in this big of a city, I would have not expected to be left with no options late the day before the expected transfer.
They did not show!!!
They did not show up for the transfer, and they did not call us to cancel. They also did not answer the phone/ contact number for me or the Trip Advisor rep.
George Nurcui, head of Athens Transfer, stole €125!
I had booked and paid 125€ by Revolut a Van transfer from Athens Airport to the Port of Piraeus for Sunday, August 31, 2025.2 hours before the performance, Athens Transfer led by George Nurciu cancels the performance and promises me a prompt refund. George Nurciu never made the refund and no longer answers me.I am very disappointed to have trusted this Enterprise which does not respect its commitments and steals customers!!!

Clean, courteous and great service
Was a very stressful free experience, George was there on time to pick us up both at the airport and again at the port. A lovely man, helped with our luggage and continually contacted us and reassured us he was there to collect us. The mini van was clean and luxurious would highly recommend.

We have contracted the transfer from the airport to the hotel in Athens on August 14, 2025. There was a delay in the arrival of the suitcase, we warned the driver and when we left the airport he was simply not there, did not answer msg nor call and the transfer was paid 100 euros. Bad service and still do not return the money, do not answer the phone and not msg.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!I booked and paid in advance for a taxi transfer from Piraeus cruise port, to meet a guided tour at the Acropolis. Unfortunately, the service was a complete letdown. The driver never turned up at the scheduled time and location, leaving us stranded and scrambling for alternative transport at the last minute. This resulted in us missing the guided tour that we had booked.What made the situation even worse was the total lack of communication. I tried calling, messaging, and emailing the company multiple times, but received no response whatsoever. No updates, no apology, no explanation, no refund.This experience caused unnecessary stress and I would strongly advise others to avoid this company if you’re looking for reliability and peace of mind. When you’re counting on a service to get you somewhere important, especially for a time-sensitive journey, this kind of failure is simply unacceptable.
A dreadful service from Athens Transfer
We booked an airport transfer from Athens airport to Piraeus for 2.10am on 23rd July 2025 and paid €65 in advance. Our flight was on time and the airport was not busy, however there was no driver with a sign waiting to pick us up when we arrived. We waited in arrivals for 40 minutes, called the number given several times and got no answer. Ultimately, we had to pay for another taxi to Piraeus which cost us €75. We are 3 females and should not have been left waiting at the airport in the middle of the night. We have contacted Athens Transfer to express our disappointment in their lack of service and to request a refund and have had no response from them at all.A really terrible service from this company all round, so book with caution.
