Heffle Court is a warm and welcoming place where residents are well cared for. The staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help. I would like to sincerely thank all the staff at Heffle Court for the incredible care and support they have provided to my auntie. From the moment she moved in, we felt completely reassured knowing she was in such capable and compassionate hands.
The team at Heffle Court truly go above and beyond in everything they do. Every member of staff—from carers and nurses to housekeeping and management—demonstrates genuine kindness, patience, and dedication. It’s clear that they treat every resident like family, with respect, dignity, and personalised attention.
My auntie has settled in beautifully, and it’s heartwarming to see her so well cared for and happy. The environment is always clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and there’s a lovely sense of calm and community throughout the home. The activities are varied and engaging, and staff are wonderful at encouraging residents to participate at their own pace.
Communication with families is also excellent—we are always kept informed and involved, and the staff are approachable and helpful whenever we have questions or concerns.

I visit Heffle Court regularly as an entertainer for the residents. I always experience a warm friendly atmosphere. The staff are very attentive to the residents and show a lot of care and respect whilst at the same time maintaining a friendly and fun environment.

I recently visited Heffle Court to provide entertainment for a little while for the residents. They were in great spirits and were up and dancing with the staff. All the staff I met there have a really good rapport with the residents and took care of their needs as required. Nothing seemed too much trouble. A very friendly place with excellent security too. I hope I will be able to go back to entertain again as it adds another dimension to the level of care provided by the team.

My husband has just had the pleasure of living at Heffle Court for a short respite stay, enabling me to to recuperate following recent surgery. He needed to be in a safe and secure environment where I knew he would be well looked after, following two serious illnesses. I also stayed there for the first week of my recuperation, to help my husband settle in, and to get a feel of the place.
My initial feel about the care home was regarding the amount of visual stimulation everywhere, from brightly coloured paintings on the walls of the corridors, with lots of pictures, sayings and quotations. There is even a tea room containing memorabilia from bygone times. It felt very homely and relaxing.
Most of the residents there were dementia patients, and the wonderful staff treat them with nothing but kindness, compassion, respect, politeness and cheerfulness, which I felt was thoroughly appreciated by the residents themselves, and their families when they visited their loved-ones. All this from the senior managers and the care assistants, the nursing staff, the cleaning staff, and the kitchen staff (where the chef was happy to cater for my vegan lifestyle) - too many lovely people to name personally. I can honestly say that nothing was too much trouble for any of them.
We had the pleasure of being residents during our wonderful Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The care home was decorated with flags, bunting and pictures, and the staff put on a party to include all the residents, some of whom wore hats that they had decorated themselves. Some even sang along to the music. The weather was sunny and warm as we sat outside in the brightly decorated garden to eat our specially prepared party meals. The staff of Heffle Court made it a day to remember.
