We received an estimate from ARTIC AIR to have some duct work completed in our home. After we signed and returned the estimate, they informed us they made a mistake and the estimate was actually about 20% higher. After some back and forth they begrudgingly agreed to do the work for the price they quoted, but now said we needed to pay an additional $200 for a permit, also not included in the original estimate. A permit for a job this size would be about $65 but ARTIC AIR marked it up to $200 and said we could not get our own permit. At this point I just wanted to job to get done do I agreed to pay the additional $200. ARTIC AIR then called and said they were so backed up that could not get to our job until mid-November, over 5 moths away. Riiiiiiight.... This was strange because when we talked to the estimator just a couple weeks prior, he said they were scheduling about 10-14 days out and just hired a new crew to stay caught up. Even more confusing is I had a friend call and ask about having some work done and they told her they could be at her house in two weeks or less. Throughout this process I was forced to deal with the scheduler who was one of the most unhelpful, rude, disrespectful customer service individuals I have ever had to deal with, and that is staying a lot these days. I asked to speak to a manager a couple times and each time she said she was they only person I could talk to. In the end we found another local HVAC company to do the work ARTIC AIR was unable to accomplish for a far better price. We didn’t have to deal with the rude scheduler anymore and we didn’t have to give ARTIC AIR any money, so it was a win – win.

The technician was prompt and efficient in performing our annual service, cleaning, and adding additional refrigerant to our system. He took photographs of the inside and outside units to show my wife and answered in a simple easy to understand way. A follow up question to the company was answered promptly, and the tech returned the same day to address a minor issue.

Arctic Air has done an amazing job keeping us cool on these super hot days! They were most professional, prompt, and proficient when installing our new A/C system. They know their stuff! Thanks AA, Hughes family

I have been a loyal customer for 4+ years. Always been happy with promptness, after hours accommodations, and fair pricing. Last night (4th of July) my A/C quit and we called the after hours service. In the past this has worked great. With a reasonable fee and turnaround time. Never heard from the on call technician. This morning I called and was apparently not the only after hours customer that didn’t receive service in a timely manner. Today I was charged the $99 trip/diagnostic fee but nothing was wrong with my unit—the breaker was flipped. Easy fix. Thanked the tech for showing me that option as a relatively new homeowner. But then: another $288 to flip the breaker was added to the bill An estimate was sent for $800+ worth of work. No thank you! What an efficient way to lose a customer. I’m extremely disappointed/disgusted/inconvenienced Bye Arctic Air Edit: Marlo from Arctic Air reached out to me. She apologized (more than once) and offered resolutions as well as incentives to remain a customer. So I raised the 1 star review to 4 stars. Depending on how future service is handled, based on this follow up call, I will add the 5h star. Thank you Marlo From Arctic Air for listening to my concerns and offering positive action. I hope future service will prove to be 5 stars.

This is the best AC Company in Pinellas County! I have waited a year to write this to make sure our issue was fixed. 3 years ago we had a contractor put a new AC in that was an Inverter hooked up to a mini split type system. We had nothing but issues and he couldn't figure it out. We were having 700-800 electric bills starting in April. Our breaker would pop. The AC never got the house cooler than 76 and would usually be around 78 and and so much humidity we were getting mold around all our vents and our walls were wet. We had 5 local AC companies come out and try to figure it out, we never usually heard back from them or they would say we just needed a new system. Moe from Arctic came out and could see there was an airflow issue. He came back out with the owner, he said it really wasn't the right system but he would try and get a fix for us but was very honest it might not work. He gave a very reasonable quote on adding returns to all upstairs room and one additional supply and redoing a lot of the duct work that was pretty ridiculously set up when he showed us and explained it. we went forward with it but kind of had to wait till this year to see if it helped. It has made a huge difference, our bills are lower, our humidity went from 85-95% down to 45-55%. We have cold air! I can turn the AC down to 72 and we will actually get that and our AC is no longer running 24 hours a day. We know it is still not the best unit for our house but it will do until we are ready to buy a new one and I will only ever use Arctic air going forward. When every AC company shunned us this company was there for us and followed through and were always so nice and professional and we had multiple people from there come out to our house from the tech, the duct work guys, the owner multiple times and in addition the office manager was always so helpful and nice which seems pretty rare these days. This is a very top notch reliable company.

This company is by far the best! They are responsive, caring, straight forward, fair in pricing, and do whatever it takes to get your AC back up and running. My AC quit working of all days the 4th of July. I have a 10 month old baby and when I tell You it was hot that is an understatement. Cody the technician got to me as soon as he could (and it was a holiday, he was out here within an hour of me calling), was very helpful and got me setup with a new AC to be installed. He worked miracles along with the scheduling lady to get me on the schedule for an Install Saturday morning. They were trying to get us in for Friday but Saturday was just as good. This is the only company that I use. They have now replaced my downstairs and upstairs units. They are the best of the best! You will not go wrong by trusting them with caring for your all your needs when it comes to your AC.

I will admit that my HVAC problem took Arctic a little longer to resolve that I thought it would, my faith in them never waivered. The first technician, Cody figured out the problem literally by checking the drainage pipe, when another company couldn't figure it out, and I was impressed by him and the other technician Tristan who were professional, and expained what needed to be done. They did have to order parts, that did take a few days, but they came back out as soon as they were able to correct the problem, and now I'm comfortable in my home. Thank you, Arctic Air!

Artic Air has been my go to AC repair support for the last 2 years. They are always responsive, professional and most of all honest on their assessment of the maintenance or repair needed. I highly recommend using Artic Air.

Awesome. I called on Saturday about 4:30 pm. Half an hour later, the worker came and fixed our A/C in half an hour. So fast and official. I will recommend this company any time. Thank you.

Our air stopped working on a Sunday afternoon around 3:30 PM. I called Arctic Air and the technician called me back with a few minutes. The air problem was corrected by 5:30 PM. The only charge was for the after hours service call.
