Do not use, they told me how to wire led up but when it blow my electric i rang them they told me i wired it up wrong and basically called me a liar

Hi David, Thank you for your feedback. However, I would like to clarify a few important points for the benefit of anyone reading your review: We always suggest that a qualified electrician carry out all LED strip installations. You contacted us to confirm the polarity of the cables. We explained that blue is negative (-) and brown is positive (+), which follows industry-standard wiring conventions. If this was unclear to you, it suggests a lack of basic electrical knowledge. We requested images of how you had wired the driver and plug top so we could investigate further, but these were not provided. We also offered to have the LED strip returned for testing; you declined to send the goods back. You mentioned that your washing machine tripped or blew when plugged in. This strongly indicates that the mains wiring was incorrect, either at the driver or plug top. As a business, we must adhere to our processes. If products are not installed by a qualified professional, the warranty cannot apply. Please note, we are not accusing you of dishonesty; however, without following the correct procedures and providing the requested evidence, we have no option but to reject the warranty claim.

Found ArcLED during a search. Needed a 13m length of good quality lighting strip that would bend round corners. They were helpful and friendly on the calls I had with them. Outstanding customer service and would recommend. If I need more lighting I will be back!

Poor quality product and literally NO concept of customer service. Helpful when taking your money but look at the negative reviews - the rhetoric is all the same... You'll never get your money back, nor a replacement. Just argumentative responses which blame the customer for any faults! They claim everything is checked before it leaves the warehouse, which is a lie. Shop elsewhere. Truly shocking behaviour. Never encountered such poor service. ----------------------------------------------------------------- In answer to the owners seemingly sincere reply, this differs greatly from our actual experience, which was argumentative from very first correspondence, insisting failure was our fault and could not possibly be theirs as products are "tested" before leaving their warehouse. That is untrue as the same strip had non functioning led's at the end. But you guessed it, when mentioned, they said it was because the strip was bent by us. By their logic a fault cannot possibly develop in future either. Read any other review for faulty products and you will see this company/owner has no interest in returns/replacements. Only interested in taking your money. The LED strip was stored and fitted INTERNALLY by a qualified electrician. It has never seen the outdoors! Excuses were ready for everything. They did indeed offer to look at the led strip but said it had to be returned at OUR COST! They also suggested we BUY a replacement from them and we would only get a refund if they deemed a refund was appropriate. So why would we waste another £5 sending the strip back when we already knew what their answer would be: that the damage was not their fault! We would rather forego the circa £40 paid to Arc LED and post this review, knowing it may help future customers not buy from such a poor ethic company...

We’re genuinely sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with your experience. We always aim to provide a high level of service and support, and we take all feedback seriously. However, in this case, the issues reported were found to be consistent with water damage on a product rated IP20, which is clearly stated as suitable for dry, indoor use only. The green discoloration (oxidation) and blackening (signs of arcing) on the PCB indicate exposure to conditions outside the product's intended application. We did request that the items be returned for further assessment to help resolve the issue fairly, but unfortunately, that offer was declined. Without being able to examine the product in person, we are limited in how we can assist further. We absolutely stand behind our commitment to quality and transparency, and all products are checked before dispatch. We also work hard to support our customers with technical guidance and advice before and after purchase. We understand this response may not be what you were hoping for, but we remain available should you wish to re-engage with us to resolve the matter constructively.
