Chris and his team were excellent from visiting to quote to finishing the job. APS completed a complicated job of insulating and rendering our whole house and annexe. Chris is very knowledgeable of his trades and was able to advise us on all aspects of the job. His team was friendly and considerate and worked incredibly hard. The job was finished to a very high standard and we were very impressed with how they were able to leave our house and garden clean and tidy after such a messy job. Highly recommended!

Beautiful work, it really has finished our new extension,
Athens sand which was our chosen colour leave’s the building glowing with a warmth all year round now.

A first-class job by APS! The bungalow looks utterly transformed. What a great team, tidy, conscientious, happy and hard working. It was a joy to have them around for the five weeks it took them to complete. No hesitations whatsoever in recommending them.

Careless work shielding
Our neighbours, with whom we are on good terms, employed this company to clad their house. Due to inadequate shielding of the work, our own property was exposed to a large quantity of sticky flecks of the resin that they use, causing damage to our patio area and all items on it. There was also some minor but indelible spotting to our car, parked on the road. When I confronted their workman I was told it would cost the company too much to completely cover the work area. I subsequently raised the issue more formally with the company, sending pictures (which I can also make available on here if required). However, three weeks later I have received no response, hence this negative review.

We used APS to install insulated render in our previously cracked and tired render. They have done a fantastic job, the finish looks great. Decent communication.
Worth bearing in mind what added insulated render will mean for guttering as this may need to be altered as well.

Chris and Sean were a pleasure to deal with and experts at their trade. Whilst we had many delays due to bad weather, they didn’t rush the job and focused on making sure the outcome was a great one. I had many quotes for rendering and whilst APS were not the cheapest, I selected them because of their previous good work and Chris was 100% focused on delivering a fantastic end product. The house looks fantastic!

Due to the way the house is built with different design features and levels especially around the side door and the fact that the walls are out of line the rendering team spent a lot of time and trouble lining up the support beading before the rendering was applied. The result of which has transformed the house and resulted in many positive comments from neighbours and passes by alike

The work was well-finished, with good attention to detail around windows, etc. Mess is unavoidable when rendering but it was kept to a minimum during the work and cleaned up at the end.
I’ve given 4 rather than 5 stars because I’d have appreciated a bit more communication about what was happening when, especially at the start. Chris and his team were friendly and helpful, and I would happily use them again.
