A couple of weeks ago my Jeep SRT had problems with weird noises and warnings on dashboard. After taking it to different people who keep on referring me and couldn't find the fault my mechanic suggested I take it to American SUV. From the booking right up until the end the service was excellent. Johan called me every day like he said with an update. I was so surprised that the same day he already told me what the problem was and he gave me a quote same time. I also liked that when I suggested some things he advised on whats best for the car. Im in the market Research industry so I work with businesses everyday and based on knowledge,friendliness,turn-around time American SUV is a top company. I would rather travel all the way from Middelburg and know my car is in good hands. There is a market for American SUV in small towns. Thank you Chino and Johan you have a happy customer.

My 2015 Jeep Grand cherokee had a gasket/ engine rebuild with them. They give a 1 year 20k km warranty,my jeep had the same failure less than 6 months after they repaired it and at 19000 km which is well withi their warranty policy on their invoice!
When contacting them they are quick to deny any warranty or any liability on their workmanship!
Terrible company that only care about themselves! Stay clear

Good day, I would like to set the record straight by listing the facts.
Your vehicle had a cylinder head repair in November 2023 (8 months ago) for a misfire caused by worn valve guides. Since then your vehicle has done 19000 km without any issues. when you notified us that your vehicle has overheated and broken down and is currently in George at workshop X. I immediately called workshop X to find out what was wrong so that we can do whatever is required should this be a part or workmanship flaw. According to the failure report received from workshop X, Your vehicles radiator developed a leak on the left bottom tank. The vehicle was driven with the leak and eventually lost enough coolant to render the cooling system inadequate. The engine began running hotter than normal and eventually overheated to the point of destruction. Temperature gauges are there to warn us so that we can stop before disasters take place. Unfortunately we cannot be accountable for your radiator leak that led to the engine overheat as we did not replace your radiator 8 months ago when we repaired the cylinder heads. I would like to help you however possible but we have to remain fair to each other. I hope that you are united with your vehicle soon. Cheers Chino.
