After a short walk in the park, we decided to stop by, and walk-ins seemed fine. The restaurant itself has a great vibe, and we especially enjoyed sitting outside at the café area. American brass has great service and a beautifully done inside. They dressed up the store for the holidays and it is so clean on the inside. I knew I was in for something good! When seated near a window, we had an incredible view while we waited for our food. I had the steak and eggs, my friend had the Benedict and we shared pancakes. I did think my steak was slightly overcooked but thought it was so flavorful especially when paired with the chimichurri. They got the eggs perfectly over medium for me! The pancakes were to die for. I loved every bite! My friend got the Benedict but I'm pretty sure she subbed the smoked salmon for bacon instead and loved it. The espresso martinis are... strong and delicious. All it took was one for me to be buzzed. But I had two! I really enjoyed the food and can't wait to come back!!

This is now by far my favorite restaurant in NY. If I could rate it any higher I would. It’s perfect for a date night or a night out with friends. The waitstaff was very attentive, polite and friendly. The food was so good and flavorful 10/10 from appetizers to dessert. But the cherry on top for this place is the view. It really is a hidden gem and a must when visiting New York.

This is now by far my favorite restaurant in NY. If I could rate it any higher I would. It’s perfect for a date night or a night out with friends. She ordered the Kew Garden cocktail and couldn’t stop raving about it. The steak and pasta was spot-on, the service was solid, and everything just felt effortless. If you want to wow your lady, this is the spot.

The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, 10/10, you really can’t go wrong with anything you pick! We had such an incredible time at American Brass. The food was absolutely on point — the mini sliders were juicy and flavorful, the lobster tacos were fresh and packed with meat, and the oysters came out perfectly chilled. Even the fries were amazing. You can really tell they take pride in every dish. The cocktails deserve their own shoutout. Mine came garnished like something out of a magazine — super refreshing and perfectly balanced. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the vibe of the place is just right… great energy, great view, great atmosphere. It’s rare to find a spot where everything hits but this place does. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Every dish is plated like a piece of art and tastes even better than it looks. I ordered the grilled octopus, and it was easily one of the best executions I’ve had anywhere. Perfectly tender with a beautiful char, paired with vibrant, flavorful components that complemented the seafood without overpowering it. The sweet potato purée and roasted vegetables underneath tied everything together in a way that showed real intention from the kitchen. You can tell the chefs here care about technique, balance, and presentation. Service was just as impressive—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.
