We received excellent service from AIS from day one! Claire had so much patience with is changing the quote the whole time. Their team is super professional, friendly and work very hard to get the job done. Not once did they come late, take lunch early or leave early. They didn’t complain when they had to work an extra hour or so- truly a great team! The work they did at our house is absolutely phenomenal. Everything was done super neatly and with precision. We can HIGHLY recommend AIS aluminium.
Ps: They converted our wooden stack doors and windows to aluminium, best decision ever!

We engaged AIS Aluminium Windows and Doors through our builder for a new pool room project. The scope was extensive: skylight, multiple triple and double sliding doors, hinged doors, security screens, and a replacement glass panel.
Unfortunately, over more than 14 months, our experience has been marred by repeated delays, installation errors, and poor coordination. Some key problems included:
Skylight: Paint began peeling within three weeks. After it was powder coated and reinstalled, two skylight panels fell out. Edges and joins were rough and unfinished. While AIS states they did not manufacture or install the skylight, they have advertised skylights on their website and feature a photo of our skylight, which suggests taking credit without clear responsibility.
Cracked Glass Panels: Multiple panels cracked over time. An inspection revealed missing or misaligned spacers on most of the sliding doors, not only the ones resized multiple times. This likely allowed the glass to knock against the frames during use. This was not an isolated defect but a widespread issue. I have video evidence of the replacement contractor stating there were no spacers in the door he was removing.
Security Latches: Night latches were not included initially despite being discussed at the quoting stage. After three months of follow-up, they were installed—but didn’t match the doors. Across the entire installation, we were left with 24 separate keys for night latches and doors in a single room, which was entirely impractical and suggests poor advice or planning.
Measurements & Alignment: Doors were not level, and measurement errors led to scraping and wall damage. Additionally, the glass panels were oversized—not due to any request or change from our side—and this was not included in the original design at the quoting stage. The doors arrived differently than specified, requiring engineering approvals—critical compliance documents that remain outstanding. AIS’s attempted fixes caused further issues, and we had to bring the builder back nearly a year later to repair plasterwork.
Team Coordination: Different AIS teams arrived at various stages with little awareness of what had been done before, leading to confusion, delays, and rework.
Despite formal inspections and multiple follow-ups, we are still waiting—now over 14 months later—for these approvals and certificates. While I have paid my builder in full, AIS has withheld the final documentation due to an unresolved matter with the builder. Unfortunately, this has left us without the necessary compliance paperwork despite having fulfilled all our obligations as the end client.
It’s worth noting that the “second” AAAMSA inspection took place 11 months later, after a painful snagging process that cost additional time and money for all parties. While most issues were reportedly dealt with by that stage, the inspection may give a misleading impression that the job passed without major rectification.
Based on our experience, the overall professionalism, service, and product quality fell well short of expectations. We have photos documenting the various defects and workmanship issues. Given our experience with persistent issues and lack of resolution, we cannot recommend AIS Aluminium Windows and Doors.

Hi Andrew thank you for your feedback, however your wife Samantha has already sent a negative review over 3 months ago so this is basically spam and a repeat of what she said.
We informed you that AIS did not Manufacture nor install the Skylight your contractor mearly asked AIS to run the job through our books as he could not find a skylight company so please review the correct business regarding the skylight.
There was 1 pane of glass that cracked due to a pressure crack and not glass bumping around as you cliam as that is not possible. Perhaps spacers wouldn't have been misplaced if we did not have to resize doors 3 times due to the sub standard quality we had to deal with regarding sagging overhead beams and brickwork being built directly on top of our aluminum frames with no structural support and incorrect datum lines supplied by your builder at design stage even after confirming this with Basile Construction a number of times over message and email which you fail to mention or hide which would explain why alot of the issue came about in the first place.
All your information provided just proves that you are negatively trying to push back at AIS for no reason.
AAMSA did a formal inspection and found the full installation to be within there high standards except for some glass packers missing due to us open and closing the frames several times while resizing the doors as mentioned previously in my response. Your glazing certificate is available and upon full payment of the installation it will be handed over to Basile Construction.
Having a look at our 99 positive reviews just shows that fingers are being pointed at 1 company and not the overall project.

I found the team to be extremely helpful throughout the process. There was a bit of confusion regarding one of the doors I thought I was getting, but they responded quickly and resolved the issue without any hassle. The installation team was professional, polite, and took great care to clean up thoroughly once the job was done. I would highly recommend this company for their excellent service and professionalism.
