Ambiente di lavoro poco piacevole Assunto per tot ore la settimana che non vengono rispettate e sono sempre il doppio. Cambi di orari anche alle 21 di sera. Ti spostano a piacimento nelle altre sedi perché "hanno bisogno di personale" e se rifiuti ti lasciano a casa. Per non parlare delle casse che nel 2025 non danno resto e stai 6/7 ore in cassa ( rigorosamente in piedi) a fare calcoli.

Requires a lot of hard work Aldi is a good company to work for but is not for the weak. This job requires you to give 100% every day, no questions asked. You will work your butt off and go home with aches, pains, holes in your clothes, broken finger nails, scrapes, bruises, etc. You will also make good money (125k+ inclusive of bonus in my market at my tenure) and accrue lots of vacation time (300hour cap at my tenure). My first year as a store manager required 70 hour work weeks and coming in regularly on days off due to having a team that was not trained. I am on my 9th year as a store manager and right now I’m working about 55 hours a week and I do have much better work life balance. You MUST train your team to do the job 100% or you will not be successful. Work those 5am-5pm shifts and train your stockers to be FAST and ACCURATE. Getting truck done on time will make your entire day easier. Your management team MUST be able to problem solve on their own or you will constantly receive calls/texts when you are not in the building. Because Aldi only works with 2-5 people (maybe 7-8 at a VERY busy store) on a shift, one call out can derail the entire day. Build a team that will cover call offs so you don’t have to. I have worked 1 double in my 10 years with Aldi. Not bad for retail management!My DMs, DOOs and VPs have all been amazing. They are incredibly supportive and truly make me feel valued in my role. This is one of my favorite parts about working at Aldi. Time management skills are a must. You will have all typical admin duties that come with being a store manager in addition to being an active associate on the sales floor. I cashier, shop curbside, merchandise product, refill product, etc for about 75% of my shift. 25% of my shift is admin throughout the day. Find a routine that works for you, your store, and your team and stick with it. The KPI goals are challenging to achieve, but possible. You need to master the basics of Aldi as a SM- cashiering, curbside, truck, zone maintenance. You need to be the best so you can develop your team to be the best. Without a good team supporting you (and vice versa!), you will not achieve your KPI goals.

Nice place to work but you are expected to work quickly can be quite intense sometimes. 5am starts are a killer If you are on an open can be 5am straight into a largish delivery. Backstocking and till work after that. Various shift pattens throughout the day no week has ever been the same which i quite like. Good home work balance. The most enjoyable part is chit chatting to some of the customers. The hardest part is very early starts. Pros: lots of company benefits good pay Cons: early starts sometimes long shifts

Falsi e vi consiglio vivamente di non lavorare qui Falsi e incapaci .Nel colloquio ti parlano bene ma poi nel momento di lavoro ti stressano tanto e ti fanno perdere pazienza. Pretendono troppo che in due giorni sapessi già come il lavoro. Non sanno formare le persone. Ti Devi supplicare per farti insegnare le cose. L’unico positivo sarebbe che lo stipendio arriva sempre puntuale. Solo le persone pazze riescono a lavorare senza arrivare al punto di diventare pazzi.

Avoid at all costs Pressure pressure and more unrealistic pressure and expectations. With little to no support from area managers as they don’t even have sufficient training so you are expected to call round other stores or just know it yourself. You get grilled when one KPI isn’t green. The pay is great but kiss your work life balance goodbye. I watched my areas store managers lost hair, gained weight and looked drained and all have heavy bags under their eyes. I myself looked like an extra for the walking deceased cast. Unless you get a store in a well to do area and with good sales you have one uphill battle on your hands and even then if you do get that type of store your targets/KPI’s are ridiculous. I wouldn’t work for aldi for £10k a month. They currently have all new directors that aren’t experienced in the fields that they are in and it’s showing. Plus due to it being a discounter the pressures will always be there, ever increasing. If you do decide to go with aldi I wish you all the luck in the world but would from the bottom of my heart implore you not to. You get hooked on the money that’s what keeps most there

Cost cutting and getting worse 6 years and my mind and body are absolutely destroyed there is no work life balance and the standards for O.E are not realistic and just keep getting worse.

Tough with very little reward. The job isn't for the faint hearted, very long days at times and Christmas is an absolute endless slog. Buying just pump the stores full of unnecessary stock, enough for the whole of the Christmas well before it's needed resulting in warehouses grinding to a halt. The company claim to be the nations favourite place to work yet the work life balance for management is terrible. Salaried managers must work til 8pm and this has to be covered 6 days a week. Deputy managers who are only contracted to 30/35 hours are having to work 45-50 hour weeks due to the business dropping stores down to 3 deputy managers each. This was 4/5 deputy managers a year or 2 ago so the ones that are left are picking up the slack. Wages are decent in the sector if your happy enough to put up with the silly ideas that implement from above. Luckily I have a great store manager who agrees with me on most things. If you get a bad store manager and area manager your life will become very difficult. Pros: Paid breaks and overtime paid back in liue Cons: Long hours, late shifts, early shifts, weekend working.

well structured First shift at the warehouse has great hours. The work place here is fast pace and somewhat physical, but time flys. Job is overall well structured with a helpful atmosphere. Pros: great hours with competitive pay

great managers and co workers bad upper management and company went down hill too much to to for one person at once they want you to be on the register, and be in charge of 4 self check outs at the same time and clean, do trash inside and out, fix the shelves, and sweep, mop and do the bathrooms all while being on the register also go out back fill the mop bucket, clean the break room and office all while still being on the front register.. sometimes its ok sometimes NOPE..i was lucky most managers were great and most i say most of my co workers also and i loved a lot of my regular customers some could go and never come back its ok. i loved the interaction with lots of the people and i did like staying busy But the equipment there was always broken.. i need the company to have what i need to do the job and that was super lacking i mean i would bring my own disposable gloves in to clean the toilets.. do better aldi. Pros: they did give us gift cards at thanksgiving or christmas time, we got fed for free quite a few times, also paid breaks. Cons: too much to do too little staff
