Understanding Passenger Experiences Every traveler can have a different experience depending on their itinerary, airport, flight schedule, baggage situation, and individual needs. Reading customer feedback can help travelers understand the types of experiences other passengers have reported, but individual reviews should not be treated as a guarantee of what every customer will experience. Assistance Before and During Travel Passengers can prepare for a smoother journey by checking their reservation details, reviewing baggage requirements, confirming flight information, and keeping important travel documents accessible. Delays, cancellations, schedule adjustments, missed connections, or baggage concerns may require additional assistance. Alaska’s Customer Care service allows travelers to start a request concerning a recent trip or submit feedback, while its Help Center provides resources for current and future travel plans. What Reviews Can Tell Travelers Customer reviews can highlight both positive and negative experiences, including interactions with airport staff, reservation agents, baggage services, and onboard teams. However, reviews represent individual experiences and may vary significantly depending on the circumstances of each journey. A Practical Approach to Customer Support When contacting an airline, having the confirmation number, passenger name, flight number, travel date, and relevant documents available can make it easier to explain a concern. Using official Alaska channels can also help travelers find information that applies to their specific reservation. Final Thoughts Alaska Airlines® offers several ways for travelers to find assistance before, during, and after a journey. Combining official support resources with careful preparation and balanced customer feedback can help passengers make more informed decisions and handle travel-related questions more efficiently.

Saftey of the passengers It was very hard to believe there were 12 emergency row seats and only 2 people were sitting in the emergency row. When I ask if I could be move up to one of them I was told it was a upgrade seat. If there had been an emergency only 2 people would be there. Is money more important than the saftey of the passengers to Alaska airlines

Terrible customer service!! Seats can be changed without notice Go to another airline!!! Customer service was horrible. They change booked seat assignments without any notice even in first class. Three hour holds for customer service to be told that ANYTHING YOU BOOK CAN BE CHANGED WITHOUT NOTICE, FOR ANY REASON!!

Find another airline Alaska airlines used to be ok when compared to other Airlines but has completely gone downhill. The seats are crap even first class. My seat was broken on both my flights. Trying to change a flight is a nightmare even with a refundable ticket, they force you to not change your flight by giving you the worst options. Alaska Airlines is no longer an option fir me.

Miserable!!!!!!! First off, Alaska couldn't get their plane from the hangar to the gate despite the fact it arrived the night before. We were two hours late from Seattle and because they are a nobody airline anywhere but the PacNW, we couldn't get a gate at ORD, they ran out of gas and diverted to MSP, unloaded and reloaded, flew back to oRD, still can't get to a gate, have been held hostage on the tarmac for hours. We should have arrived 7 hours ago and instead, we are sitting on this hot, miserable plane with a clueless crew. Never again.

My Trip From Hell This used to be my favorite Airline since 2017. Now they have changed completely. On my trip last week, they froze us to near death. I was begging for a cover.. I told them I was in serious joint pain while shivering incontrollably. They didn't listen or answer! it was a 5+ hours of agony. Not even a drop of water or tea or even a snack bar, although I paid extra $114 for a meal and a drink! All I got was the extra 4" foot space which I didn't use because I was curling in a ball shape all the time to protect my body from the freezing cold. When I asked the host for a cover she barely glanced at me and said while turning her head away: covers are for first class only! The other host mumbled something quickly while he kept walking without even bothering to glance! I asked 4 times for a cover before gave up. Now recovering from that horrific experience with back stiffness and lots of pain. No more Alaska Air for me.

Extremely Disappointed Checked my bag with them and they gave me back a nearly empty bag. They didn't refund me even after a police report and reporting them to the department of transportation. They also lost my friend's stroller when she flew with Alaska Airlines. Don't check your bags or items with Alaska Airlines. They may lose your stuff and won't rectify the situation or even give a refund on the checked bag. I will never be flying with Alaska Airlines again.

DELAYED Absolutely the worst experience ever. So far flight has been delayed over 5hrs and gate has changed at least 3 times for myself. I've seen this airline change people's gate all morning. That would be the entire 5 hours I was delayed for my own flight. The only compensation that was offered was $12 meal voucher. You try your best not to get angry at the gate agents because it's truly not their fault but do better Alaska let's not tread into Spirit and Frontier territory. You used to highly rated

Worst Airline Experience I have ever had My spouse and I had an amazing vacation celebrating our anniversary and my birthday, but the trip home with Alaska Airlines completely ruined the experience. On our flight from Los Angeles to Seattle, two children sitting behind us repeatedly kicked the back of my seat throughout the flight. I complained several times, but the parent did not take any apparent action to stop it. It made the flight extremely uncomfortable and frustrating. The connecting flight from Seattle to Detroit was even worse. A baby cried continuously for the entire four-hour flight. This was not occasional crying—the baby did not stop for the entire trip. From my perspective, the parents made no meaningful effort to console the baby, and the situation was never effectively addressed. I understand that babies and children travel and that not every situation is within the airline’s control, but the lack of consideration and assistance made the flight unbearable. When we finally arrived in Detroit, we waited more than 30 minutes for our luggage. We were then told over the announcement system that it would be another 15 minutes before the bags reached the conveyor belt. This was the worst experience I have ever had with an airline. What should have been the end of a memorable anniversary and birthday vacation instead became an exhausting and deeply disappointing travel experience. I hope Alaska Airlines reviews how passenger disturbances and baggage delays are handled so that other customers do not go through the same thing.

Its pretty good The legroom is actually not bad as long as you get first class, if not then your screwed. You get free texting onboard, and some drink and snack. I really enjoy flying this airline

Great flight, but menu still lacking Flight left on time and arrived 20 minutes early. Flight attendants were friendly and I really liked the new cinnamon pretzel snacks. They have added one additional food item you can pre-order, but the menu is still lacking. Luggage arrived 15 minutes after arriving at the gate. Used frequent flier miles to book the trip, great value.

Unacceptable Treatment by Flight Attendant & Non-Functioning Vouchers I am extremely disappointed by the rude and unreasonable behavior of the flight attendant on our flight, as well as the frustrating experience during our subsequent missed connection. Our family was sitting in the seats automatically assigned to us by Alaska Airlines' booking system. During the flight, the flight attendant aggressively insisted that I change seats simply because my children were talking to one another. There was zero disruptive behavior—they were merely conversing as siblings do. What made this completely unacceptable was the blatant double standard: other children on the plane were actively out of their seats and roaming the aisle, yet the flight attendant never once addressed them or spoke to their parents. Our family was singled out, spoken to disrespectfully, and forcefully made to separate. To make matters worse, following our missed connection, the electronic Mastercard meal voucher QR card issued by the airline was completely useless. I attempted to use it at seven different restaurants and retailers around the airport area, and it was declined every single time, forcing me to pay for all seven meals out-of-pocket for our large family. Singling out passengers with hostile treatment onboard, followed by providing non-functioning meal vouchers during an already stressful delay, is completely unacceptable service. I expect professional, consistent treatment from flight crew and functional support during travel disruptions.

Worst check-in out of any airline. They have the worst check-in process out of every airline I have ever been on. Couldn't check in online to get boarding passes or prepay for luggage. Could not get boarding passes or pay for luggage at terminal on automated kiosks. Had to find one of their very few employees after walking many floors with all luggage. Finally had boarding pass but didn't get connecting flight pass or any direction on what terminal to go when we arrived, went to pay for luggage, card readers don't function properly. Had to figure that out and paid. Error message pops up and says cannot print luggage tags see a representative. I voiced my frustration! Finally got someone to come just to tell me I wasn't going to be able to fly if I kept acting the way I was. Touche! Flight was delayed 20 minutes and we originally only had a 51 minute layover with no knowledge of what terminal to be at in Chicago or our boarding passes. It was very frustrating!

Bet of flight delay, 90% chances you will win!One of the worst airlines, if you bet that flight will be delayed, you won't lose the bet 90% of the time. I have travel one before this flight pdx sjc And after 2 more. Out of 4 , 3 flights delayed. This flight had a huge drama with gate changes multiple times. I will not fly ever.

Bait and Switch with a mobility limited passenger on a first class ticket Alaska advertised 5 tickets available in first class on a one way international flight for $1,700. My brother submitted his ticket request (for him and his wife who needs mobility assistance) on his computer the same time I did on my computer so we could use separate credit cards. His transaction processed fine. I got an error message stating it could not be processed and try again later. When I resubmitted the request immediately, the ticket price increased to $2,500. That was 5 minutes later. I monitored ticket prices for a short time and then called customer service days later. The ticket price was $2,600. Nobody else has purchased seats in first class. It even went to a supervisor who would not honor the ticket. My sister in law needs assistance travelling and it showed on her ticket. My brother has lift restrictions. All I was asking was them to honor what was shown on their website so we could all travel together and I could help them out. This is not first class service and it is not a first class airline. As of this writing, it will cost me $900 than it should to help my family. This airline has no intention of honoring anything on their website, so good luck!!!
