Booked this pitiful airline on a trip from Phoenix to Fairbanks. 67 minutes between connecting flights in Seattle, but the two flights scheduled only six gates apart. Flight from Phoenix left 40 minutes late and made up 5 minutes in flight. Upon arrival, they arbitrarily changed gates from N terminal to S terminal, which are the farthest two apart. We were forced to take 3 different trains to get from S to N, but we had a rep call ahead to let the N gate know we were coming. We got to the gate 10 minutes before scheduled departure, but they closed the door and announced the flight was closed. The charming attendant at the gate advised he could book us on the next flight out which was leaving in 10 hours. When I complained, he snapped at me if I wanted him to book us or not. He booked us way back in Main when we had tickets in First Class and said we could apply for a refund for the difference. We’re 80 years old and are now looking at a 3am arrival. Try to get a ride to the hotel that time of night, and our group is going on tour tomorrow at 11. Absolutely taking no responsibility for this treatment. I’d walk to my destination before booking this airline again, we’re flying return with them also and I can hardly wait.

Arrived on time...collected boarding pass. Saw flight delayed by 21 mins. Confirmed the same with the staff who turn his back on me after giving me the boarding pass and walked away. Went to a lounge...kept an eye on the flight which was still showing delayed. Come back the flights gone and no ones there to talk to. Then the same guy came and put me on another flight. The boards were displaying wrong time and got no text msgs from Alaska flight...highly disappointed. Called customer service...spoke to a manager who said wont compensate me for the lost time. Choose another airline if in the same price range.

Waiting and waiting and waiting!!!! AA SUCKS!!! Waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting! Flights delayed constantly! They are horrible, if you have a connecting flight, you're out of luck, they could give 2-craps, their food is WAY over priced, they charge 100$ for a heavy bag and every bag has a few. They nickel and dime you for a seat selection and they're not good, just a horrible couple of experiences

On Monday, July 15, 2024 , my daughter was traveling back to SFO from Boston (Logan) airport today. Her original time of departure was 6:30pm, they did not take off until 10:13pm!! She was alerted via text that it was late due to her plane , coming from San Diego) running behind. Even after that plane arrived late, the airport continued to hold back their planes. On Alaska's website it even apologized for the delay, specifically stating the reason for their delay was a delayed incoming flight. I even took a screen shot of the reasoning that was posted. Then around 9.40pm, the airline stated that the additional delay was due to thunderstorms at 9:56 pm, but there were no storms on the radar for the Boston area. Although Alaska Airline did give her a voucher for a fraction of the cost of the flight, it doesn't even cover a one way trip anywhere. To me, that is terrible compensation for a plane that was 3hrs and 45 mins late of departure time. I have never flown Alaska Air before, and after my daughter's experience today, I will never use them.

I’ve travelled a lot over the past sixty years and my trip from SFO-SNA is without question the worst travel experience of my life. Alaska cancelled the trip down after making us wait six hours (mechanical problems) and give us a voucher for an awful hotel near the SFO airport. Incredibly the trip back was the same, we waited 5 hours (mechanical problems), they cancelled the flight and put us in a flea bag hotel near the SNA airport. I used to love Alaska but I will never fly Alaska again. The worst travel experience of my life. We ended up flying back on United, at least their planes take off. David **

We reached the airport on time but they rescheduled our flight to next flight because of overbooking, bad attitude at the gate and not assigning seats before time so that they can overbook. Just a bad start on vacation.

This was the first time flying Alaska. I was hesitant because of all the negative reviews, but I decided to give them a try. Worst mistake I ever made. They double charged me for bags. Then had to make a unscheduled landing due to the bathrooms not working. And when you ask what's going on, no one has an answer. Absolutely avoid this Airline company if you can.

My trip from Denver to Seattle on Alaska Airlines has been a disaster. Both my flight there and going home was delayed by 2 hours. I’ve never experienced Alaska to delay its flights and I told myself the delay on the first leg of my trip was a fluke but that if it got delayed on the way home, this would be the last time I fly Alaska. Looks like that’s the case. I’ll stick to United Airlines for future trips.

It is one of the worst airlines. There is no customer service at all. I traveled frequently in all airlines due to my travel job but never had this kind of bad experience. Flight attendants are not trained how to serve the customer.

I was on flight AS887 to Hawaii from SF on father's day June 16, 2024. For the most part the experience was pleasant but when I needed to use the restroom during the flight the attendant advised me I could not use the restroom at the front and would have to travel all the way to the back. Mind you I was in row 10 and there are over 40 rows on the plane. She allowed all other passengers (white) over 12 passengers to be exact, over the course of 10 minutes to congregate at the front and wait for their turn to use the restroom. Another passenger (I believe of Asian decent) sitting in the row in front of me witnessed the entire thing and made it a point to tell another flight attendant what happened on my behalf (thanks for your kindness). The flight attendant apologized and said "it can just get so hectic at times so we didn't want to crowd. This statement could not be further from justifying the situation since there was NO one waiting up front when I went to wait (behind the 1st class curtain by the way). Everyone else who waited (EVEN AFTER she told me I had to go to the back) waited right between the restroom and the flight attendant space with no issue. Later after the other attendant apologized to me the attendant who told me to go to the back made an announcement on the loud speaker that "now that they were done serving, anyone from row 6 back needing to use the restroom should use the one in the back NOT the front. I say all this to day I will NEVER fly Alaska Airlines again after this experience. Last I checked money is green and that is the only color that should matter. I paid for my ticket the same as everyone else and should have been afforded the same liberties as well. Who would have thought that in 2024 we would have a true Rosa Parks moment, from the bus to the airplane my my how far we've come (or NOT).

Alaska airlines is number 1 for me. I love flying with Alaska Airlines and honestly I dread when I have to use another airline. The customer service is top notch. The seats are comfy, and you get free movies. I’ve flown both budget and premium. The flight attendants have always been very friendly and helpful. You really can’t beat the prices and I don’t think I’ve ever had a late flight.

I've been flying with Alaska almost exclusively for 10 years. I was a loyalist, would pay extra just to fly Alaska, paid for the lounge membership, have multiple top tier Alaska credit cards, used the Alaska Business card, the whole thing. And we are finally leaving Alaska for good. I have booked multiple international flights using their mileage rewards program (the literal whole point of having an airline credit card) and year after year they mess it up. They have yet to get us somewhere without a mess. I thought that since most things worked most of the time that it was fine, but the truth is "most things work most of the time" because the only time it goes sideways is when you actually use the point system or try to work with Alaska representatives - which is exactly when you need them. They will cancel, book you wrongly, leave you stranded in different airports (I once had to drive 7 hours to get to another airport just to get home), and refuse to help. I've heard "there's nothing I can do" so many times when it was 100% at no fault to my own actions. It's one thing to not be able to help if I mess something up, but how outrageous they won't even fix their own mistakes. Sad I poured so many years into an account that doesn't care about customers. Even if another airline has terrible customer service like Alaska, maybe they won't mess up as much and make me suffer for it.

Never ever again. They do not give a crap about you even if you pay for extras. So rude and inconsiderate. Luggage handlers sleeping, rude dismissive staff and the worst application I have ever used. I cut my Alaska card at the ticked desk. I am saying, don't.

The airline is several years behind their competitors in terms of basic service offerings. Poor attitude from every staff member I interacted with. Constant nicely and diming. I would never choose to fly Alaska again.

I flew on a flight May 4, 2024 and there was no air conditioning. It was so extremely hot. I suffered health issues and I was throwing up on the plane and eventually blacked out from exhaustion. The stewardess were very rude and never even checked if I was ok. I'm looking for other passengers that may have been on the same flight from Seatle to Orlando. Please contact me at **.

I traveled with Alaska Airlines on 06/27/2023 from Los Angeles to Washington. I had a terrible in flight experience as well as afterwards when trying to relay my concerns with the airline about my experience. In flight, they did not honor my first class ticket because first class was full. They also destroyed my luggage which was the brand name Louis Vuitton. I tried to negotiate with them for the damages for almost a year. Eventually I had to take them to court and I got judgement against them for the damages. Do not trust Alaska Airlines.

Flight delayed by 5 hours due to 'weather.' The entire United States was VFR and there were no TFRs or sigmets that I could locate using Garmin Pilot. The flight itself was very good - comfortable seats, helpful flight attendants. I guess all the airlines have delays these days. We only book direct flights because connecting legs are bound to be missed.

Absolutely worst experience of my flying life. I WILL NEVER fly with them again! Delays for 3-4 hours, and landed at the wrong airport… This airline is an absolute disaster!! So bad!! I now have missed both of my appointments that I scheduled for this trip and won’t make the pickup time for my RV. I needed to be there no later than 5:15, and now I’m in the wrong city with no chance of arrival!!

Great company to deal with Great airline to deal with. Friendly people working from baggage, to tickets to the on board staff. In flight entertainment is good, the plane typically leaves on time and from my experience, is usually arriving early. Highly recommend
